My hair is exceptionally dry more often than not. I wanted to give this a go since Dominican hair products have a reputation of being great for curly hair. First application I followed the directions exactly and was pleased with soft fragrant curls. However the cold weather hit and on my second application I left it on my hair through the day. My hair was left hydrated and soft for the next few days. I have thyroid issues so this was a big deal for me since my hair is usually bone day the next day. The smell is strong but fades eventually. I’d absolutely buy this again and look forward to trying more products from this line. For reference I have 3C hair.

Yes, It must be confusing why I gave this 4 stars... I LOVE the way it feels on my hair. BUT I'm saddened to say I'm about to throw it out due to formaldehyde being used which has cancerous effects and other scary effects on your health. Black women are particularly further targeted by products that have more harmful "preservative" ingredients which affects fertility, your endocrine system (hormones), and more. Recently I saw a video of a toxicologist talking about the effects of these formulations and even in small doses some chemicals can be WORSE. I'm really disappointed that this is the case, but if Crece Pelo can remove the formaldehyde I would buy it for life!

I cannot attest to growing hair since i have only used it once, but how soft and shiny it leaves the hair, i can say as a frequent user of hair masks, this is a WINNER! I used it with hair cap under heat for 20 min after shampoo then rinsed and it was like getting a Keratin treatment all over again. Amazing. Smells pretty good too, but that's a matter of personal preference, just has a clean just showered smell i think. If it helps growth, then this is a true GEM. LOVE IT!!!

I like this product but wish I wouldve just went to the beauty supply store. Its a VERY VERY small jar. Its also cheaper at the beauty supply store. wast of money actually.

Very moisturizing! The smell just smells like chemicals so I not a fan of that! It’s smaller than expected but the amount is in the description so I can’t complain
