Peachtree Woodworking Supply Veneer Variety Pack for Marquetry and Inlay

I have purchased these many times from this vendor for a class I teach on marquetry. It always comes with a wide selection of veneers that help make the class and the designs interesting.

As a hands-on artisan obsessed with texture and tonal variance, this veneer pack is a dopamine hit for the senses. Each sheet is a wildcard — a curated chaos of domestic and exotic species, dyed finishes, and grain patterns that scream design potential. No two packs are alike, and that’s the magic: it’s a randomized buffet of creative fuel. I used these for micro-inlay work on a refurbished DETECTO scale and a live-edge accent table — both flipped for profit. The veneers responded beautifully to precision cuts, edge burnishing, and epoxy overlays. Even the thinner sheets held up under heat press and vacuum bagging. Bonus: the color saturation on the dyed pieces is chef’s kiss — no bleeding, no warping. This isn’t just a product — it’s a launchpad for upcycled brilliance. Pieces come in three sizes: 5.5x8, 6.5x8, and 7.5x8. Some pieces are warped but they’ll do fine for my purpose (laser engraving/cutting). Pieces vary in grain texture and firmness (i hope im using the right terms) and the colors seem to vary by pack. I was hoping for a bright yellow and a bright red piece but didn’t get one. I tried to organize the pieces I got by color to show off the ones I recieved. Pieces are VERY thin and some are more brittle than others, I estimated 1/32 of an inch with a ruler. All in all its a great variety for the price, but if you’re look for a specific color or have a more professional use maybe try ordering another listing :)

This was a great purchase for laser-engraving wood stickers. It came with many more sheets than I expected, and for the most part, they are all usable for my purpose. I really liked the variety of woods and colors. When I run out, I will be purchasing more.

The product itself is great.... BUT I did not get any colors at all just browns. The color was the reason I chose this product.

I purchased this specifically because it said “color dyed pieces” and was expecting to get “various grain and color dyed raw wood veneers” as per description. I got ONE color dyed piece (out of 43), the rest are just standard natural wood veneers. Granted, they are nice veneers, but was looking for colored veneers, you know like, yellow, blue, green, red, etc. So from that respect, was disappointed with this $30 purchase. Others have commented on getting only 1 color dyed piece as well. I think it it deceitful marketing by Sauers & Company.

Colors were vibrant. My project turned out really nice.
