Worth it for the syringe alone?
I guess I misjudged how much 25g of thermal compound is, because it's a lot. And this syringe? FREAKIN' HUGE. I won't say it'll last a lifetime, but unless you build PCs or test hardware for a living (or get really creative), this should have you covered for years. As for performance, just before applying the Ceramique on an i5 4670K at 3.2GHz I monitored temps up to around 73°C under full load. With the Ceramique, idle and load temps each dropped by about 30°C (load now peaks around 46°C). That's not an entirely fair comparison because I swapped out the very bleh OEM cooler at the same time, but point being it works better than the generic gray compound that comes stock. I'll leave it to others to provide more objective performance details; suffice to say for my needs it works great and at least as well as I need. For less than ten bucks, and given the massive quantity, I couldn't be happier. Definitely recommended.

It works.
I own a PC repair shop, and pretty much every desktop I work on that's more than a few months old gets the heatsink repasted while I'm in there cleaning stuff out, so I go through a tube this size about every year or so.Ceramique does the job just fine, and is easy to work with. Not messy or runny like some. There are other TIMs that are more effective, but can be more of a pain to work with, and unnecessary unless you're doing some pretty heavy overclocking. For regular mainstream applications, this is my go-to TIM.

This is the one
I am an A+ Tech and used this and it's predecessor as my go to thermal compound for CPU, GPU, Transistors and anything else which needed a high quality alternative. Hundreds of custom builds and I still like it best. Delivers temps near the best (not quite) but within 1-2 deg. More importantly it never becomes concrete like the generic types. A slight twist then the CFU comes right off. Cleans up with alcohol so no need for fancy cleaner. Additionally, it is non conductive.

Non-conductive and a generous quantity
Been using Ceramique since 2007 and have built about ten computers since. My go-to paste, although I have tried others with questionable optimal results compared with Ceramique. Arctic Silver and the MX paste are both excellent choices, but for overall performance and non-conductive qualities, Ceramique beats'em all. For the money, you simply can't beat the amount you receive. Make sure you know how to apply this paste. The best part of clean-up is that simple isopropyl alcohol will absolutely clean off the paste, so you don't need expensive solutions to mess with. Truly the best formulation and best bang for your buck.
