I can’t believe what a wonderful eye pencil these are! They go on smoothly without tugging your eyelid and doesn’t budge- no smearing or running. You get a nice smooth line. Huge variety of colors matte and metallic. The tip doesn’t mash down and sharpens to a nice point. I've tried so many brands at so many price points and these are the absolute best. I will not buy another brand. The price for one of these is unbelievable! Give one a try and you’ll never go back.

Absolutely LOVE these pencils - everything about them: color, smooth creamy application (they don't tug), they last all day and waterproof - also easy to remove with micellar water. All this for a decent price too - not like Urban Decay pencils which cost twice as much and don't last as long throughout the day, nor apply so easily. Also love that there's a soft black option. Honestly these are BOMB!

When I first bought these pencils three years ago, they were phenomenal. I continue to buy them because of how well they perform. However, recently, I've noticed that the pencil filling runs out way before the pencil itself is exhausted. This was not the case when I began using them. Is this a quality control issue, or is the company cutting expenses and reducing the pencil following? In any event, it's still a quality product, I hope they correct this shortcoming.

This eyeliner is better quality than some I have purchase at retail makeup stores. It glides in smoothly and stays on. It doesn’t smudge and end up everywhere but on your eye. The color is very pigmented. The stay power makes the performance of this product well worth the price.

I am a fan of Julep's products (eyeshadow, lipliner) but this was my first eyeliner. I'm so pleased. It goes on smoothly and after about 30 seconds it becomes set and won't smudge or wear off easily. Comes off fine with makeup remover at the end of the night though. I have watery eyes and eyeliner often doesn't last on me, but this one is excellent. Bronze Shimmer is especially festive! Will purchase again and recommend.

I have combo skin and every eyeliner I've tried has smudged on me by the end of the day. The only ones that have not are this one and MAC's blacktrack gel liner. I miss when Julep would do monthly boxes because I always had this as one of the products. Thankful Amazon does subscribe and save! Saves me the hassle and I always have one on hand.This liner is easy to use, glides on nicely and does. not. smudge. The downside? It's a pain to take off lol.

I would never buy this item again, and that is because I have a pencil sharpener for eyeliner pencils which works great with other gel eyeliner pencils I have but does not work good on this particular product. I can sharpen it but it takes quite a few tries before it even comes to somewhat of a point. No again do not like it at all and am surprised because I have always liked other Julep products.

I have other products in the Julep range which stay put quite well. Like other reviewers have said, one of the biggest problems with eyeliner on the water line is how long it lasts. This make is quite good. I do exercise and live in a hot climate, so make up products have their work cut out. I have the taupe and it’s very dark which suited me well.

Finally I found the perfect sharpener for my eyeliner. It doesn’t ruin my kohl eyeliners.

I don't often leave reviews, but feel I have to for this. I have some gel pencils which were impossible to sharpen with other sharpeners - this one did the trick, highly recommend.

I have half a dozen of these now, they are easy to use, soft on the lid, draw smooth no snagging and last all day. They fix well, hold their colour and come off easily at the end of the day. I'm a 50 something woman with post menopausal skin, lines and a bit of drying around the eyes.The darker colours hold true for longer, the shimmer colours are lovely but do tend to fade after about 16hrs. The gold one tends to shed a bit but its a nice look and you can layer the shimmer colours over the darker ones after setting time, which gives it a nice look which lasts! A bit pricey for what they are but comparable to other brands. If you work in a hot busy environment like me - ward based - they are worth a go. They come singly, no sharper included, that's extra and IS pricey for what it is.
