Lilumia 2 Makeup Brush Cleaner Device (Matte Black) - Electronic Cleaning Machine Keeps Cosmetic Makeup Brushes Soft & Clean with the Push of a Button

So everyone has been talking about this device on Instagram. I wasn't sure if I wanted to get it because it seemed kind of gimmicky and too good to be true. But I bought it and now I'm OBSESSED with this thing. First, it's a device meant for upkeep. Meaning, you will want to use your device once or twice a week, and not once every six months. It works great when you stay on top of your brush cleanings (which isn't really a problem now that I don't have to clean them) but just like anything it has it's flaws. Although it's supposed to be a washing machine for your brushes, I really wish it came with a dryer. Second, I rated it 5 stars because if you follow the directions and their suggested use it works perfectly. I don't even have to use their prep step to get mine spotless. The only downside is if you allow your brushes to build up for 3 months with old eyelash glue or foundation, you're definitely going to have to use their suggested prep step to make sure your brushes come out clean. Outside of those few things, I really do love it. I don't have to clean my brushes anymore and the device works great. You also don't have to clean the device which is a HUGE plus. All of the dirty water is flushed down to this little tray that you dump when you're done. If you want something to help you stay on top of keeping your brushes clean this is the device for you!

Mine didn't work. It would just fill with water and I could drain the water but otherwise it would just flash lights at me. It doesn't come with instructions or troubleshooting. It directs you to a website that if you try to go you'll find that the web address is now up for sale. Amazon directed me to the sellers customers service who could not help me and apparently had to talk to their technical department who also could not help me. So now I'm out a chunk of change with, dirty makeup brushes, and a big ol soapy paperweight.

I actually really loved this product. I wear lots of makeup so my brushes need to be cleaned on a pretty regular basis. I know a lot of the reviews said that it doesn't work that well, but I had zero issues. If you follow the instructions/Google the instructional "first use" video it's pretty cut and dry and simple to use. I subscribe to ipsy and I have tons of brushes and I use them all- this cut my cleaning time down by half if not more...which is amazing for someone who doesn't have a lot of extra time- this has helped my brushes stay cleaner and more sanitary like I need them to be simply because of the convenience. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with their cleaner. For the price it would be nice to at least get a smaller sample size so you can use the product immediately. :)

I was very excited for this purchase and was very excited to try it out. My brushes were more than due for a good cleaning and although I knew this would machine would not clean out a couple months of makeup, I was impressed with the job it did do. I didn't love that I had to go online to watch videos on how to use it but it was a very thorough video. I also don't love having to sweep my brushes clean first (seems redundant) but I understand this too and I wanted my brushes cleaned as best as possible. I initially smashed a brush (didn't realize) and it didn't run initially but I figured it out. I think it did a phenomenal job cleaning my brushes. The only thing I didn't like was when I turned the rack to the drying position, it was not secure and then I am not sure the whole thing dried inside. Although it's not perfect (what is though), I am happy with my purchase and can't wait to use this regularly to keep my brushes clean!

I was a little skeptical about this device, but I was wrong. It worded fantastic, my brushes were clean in no time. When I went to use them the next day they smelled so clean and refreshed. I would recommend this device to my friends. Thank you Sandy A
