My favorite MS makes for a brilliant MG kit.
The Blitz is a mobile suit that I rarely see get much fanfare, which makes me a little sad as it's my personal favorite. This MG kit is in my top favorite kits, along with the MG Tallgeese and Shin Matsunaga Zaku II. I love its weapons, I love the colors, and I really think it sets itself apart from the other Seed kits.Pros:- The epitome of cool. There aren't enough black Gundams that look this awesome, in my opinion.- The weapons. I personally love the Trikeros shield, with the javelins, built-in blaster and beam saber. The javelins specifically look excellent with proper panel lining. The Gleipnir grappling claw is also faithfully re-created, with full articulation.- It doesn't need a an action base for cool poses, as it's balanced very well. But it certainly opens up your options to have one.- Needs very little panel lining. Most of it will be on the Trikeros shield, and the few purple and yellow parts. Some people have panel lined the black parts with a gold marker, which could look very nice if you want to give that a try.- Because of its weapons, you really don't ever need to swap hands or worry about having issues with it holding its weapons. It can be a little tricky to get it to hold the Trikeros shield properly, but once you have it in place there's really no need to remove it.Cons:- There are some parts the will likely fall off as you're trying to pose it. I'd say nearly all of these can be glued in place if they're giving you grief.- The Gleipnir claw can be tricky to pose with the wire that it comes with to simulate it being fired out. The biggest problem I had was the purple piece that connects the wire to the arm didn't stay in place well. You could easily fix this with a bit of putty or clear nail polish, or just glue it in place if you don't plan on having the claw in its inactive mode. As for the wire not holding up the claw, there is a nice fix for that. If you bend the wire into sort of a sine wave, with the wire first coming down a bit to rest on the Blitz's hand, it should hold it up nice and straight. This should give the wire a bit of an undulating, snake-like look, which looks really nice, as if it's just being fired out of the launcher.- The ankle armor can be a bit annoying, as it can hinder posing. An action base can alleviate this problem for the most part.

A Solid Kit
I build MG Gundam kits as a hobby and this is definitely one of the best all-around kits that I own.PROS:+ sleek design (you don't see many Gundams with "rounded" armor)+ good colors and color separation+ awesome shield+ the Blitz has no problem holding said shield+ can hold all of his weapons without trouble+ great little flying claw thing with a cable effect piece to put it in lots of cool poses (without too much effort)+ excellent articulation (even the big shoulders move a decent amount)+ gimmicks here and there+ low price for the quality that you get ($40)CON:- the ankle guards sometimes get in the way of the full articulation of the ankle joint- front skirt armor's top piece (small black piece) sometimes pops off if you try to bend the leg all the way up while the torso is leaning forwardWhen compared to the rest of the kit the CONS are more like pet peeves. Yes, the kit is not revolutionary in terms of engineering, nor is it exciting due to cool transformation gimmick or odd shape. It's pretty much a standard Gundam. But I've had no problems with it whatsoever, it looks great o my shelf doing a gymnastic pose with the claw flying off of it's arm, and it was only $40.94/100

Great Kit
The fit on this kit is great, and you can wrap it up in a couple hours. Bandai always gives you good, durable plastic for your Gundams, and this is no exception. Of course the instructions are always in Japanese, but the pictures and diagrams are just fine to show you how to put them together. The colors look great on Blitz Gundam, and the instructions include great color photos to give ideas for painting if you want!

Lovely Build.
As someone who enjoyed the suits from gundam seed this has always been on my list to have. Loved the build and its an excellent addition to my collection. Very easy to assemble and has great possibility. Took just a little panel lining to make it pop, but other than that im highly satisfied.

Blitz Gundam, more like best gundam
The model was amazing. I myself couldn't bear to put it away uncompleted so I spent 12 hours straight making this beautiful robot. The sheet cutting we tedious. I used wire cutters to get the piece out and nailclippers to cut off the nub. No glue necessary, but it would be improved with a little bit. Still, works well without it. Smooth plastic, lighter feeling makes you feel Like it won't be dropped. If I decide to dry brush some battle damage it will look just perfect. Get this even if you aren't a fan of the show, like me.
