Inexpensive Upgrade for Casual Cycling
Purchased and installed on Men’s Sun Baja 7 Fat Tire Cruiser withs stock plastic pedals. See attached photo of the bike and zoom for a look at the stock pedals. Simple installation, economical pricing and excellent performance. Straps allow for more efficient and powerful pedaling without having to change pedals or add cages/clips. Easy to step into while riding and safely able to remove foot when stopping. I wear a size 12 wide running sneaker and there is plenty of room. Bike is used mainly for beach riding and casual town cruising. If you want a simple and low cost way to improve your casual cycling pleasure these straps are an excellent choice.

Purchased for little kid's bike pedals.
Fits my 5 yr old's bike pedals. I like the fact that it is adjustable. I purchased it for a little kid's bike; you have to push the skinny velcro straps through the pedals's holes in the side. After they go through then you can adjust the width/opening by attaching it to the large wide strap. It seems quite sturdy/attached well for a little kid's foot. I am not certain about how it will stand up against an adult's foot/weight if it will come undone. I think since I am petite and have small hands and slender fingers it is easier for me to do. Another adult not as petite as me, may need to use some long nose pliers to get their straps to go through in between a kid's pedals. I purchased the black straps. The quality looks good. Stitching good. I hope this "addition" helps the Little One to be able to pedal the bike easier as she is learning on her new bike with training wheels.

Does the thing
I ride the bike these went on about 100 miles a week, after about a month one of the straps blew a seam (seemed like a manufacturing defect). I stitched it, works fine now. So 4 stars... yes they are cheap, but they work as intended

Cyclists, look elsewhere for a cleat alternative.
I’m on a work trip for a few months and picked up a second hand commuter bike. I needed a cheap alternative to going clipless, as I didn’t want to travel with shoes and pedals. I wanted Power Grips, but my current platforms won’t support it, and my bike isn’t worth upgrading the pedals. I ordered these, figuring they’re cheap enough to test out. It took several rides to find the right fit for my foot. I stop often on my route and it’s a bit of a pain to get locked in without staring at my feet the whole time, practice might help, but occasionally they will lie flat and I’ll have to lift it up with my toes and wiggle them in. Unlike cages or cleats, I can’t just slide in quickly, I have to make sure I don’t accidentally squish the straps down. Also, both straps are identical. Not one for left side and one for right. It doesn’t really make a difference, functionally, but it shows how little thought went into them. I’m not sure how much these are helping in regards to power transfer on the up rotation. I might need a tighter fit, but if I do, I won’t be able to step out as easily and falling over is a probable. I’ve taken to turning my feet slightly to get more snug, and then I can turn the other direction to step out. Overall, probably not the best choice for normal cyclists. A couple dollars more and you can get a better quality and better performing options. I see a lot of reviewers using these for their children or persons with special needs, and I think these are much better suited for them. I’ll be keeping these for my girl, when she starts biking (if they last until then), but these definitely won’t be seeing any further use when I get back home.

Not the strongest velcro
Updating this to 1 Star. After a couple long rides the Velcro finally gave during a skid stop. Definitely not safe if using on a fixed gear for skid stops I’ll preface this review by saying I’m a fixie rider and this review is geared (no pun) towards that. They’re easy to install but don’t come with instructions so you’ll have to go on YouTube to see but it’s not hard at all 5 minute job tops. I’ve had these a few days now and put give or take 25 miles on them so far. Up until this morning they were fine albeit a little flimsy and I could see these straps not holding their shape after a while. Today on my ride I was pulling up to my local bike shop as normal and went to perform a skid stop. On busy Collins Ave in Miami Beach my left strap became undone. Fortunately I have a front brake for emergencies but this could have ended badly. I re-did the Velcro and it seemed fine after. Overall I’d give it 2 stars for fixie riding and skid stops. If you’re using it on a single speed or other bike that can coast I’m sure they’ll be fine.

Easy to install
Very happy with the pedal straps. Easy to install and work very well. I put toe clips on my other bike and had to replace the pedals. These were easy to install on the existing pedals. I have big feet and toe clips don’t always fit the best. These work much better, very comfortable.

Holds foot in place on pedal
The bike came with hard for foot pedals. These work a lot better.

Velcro came detached really easily
Unfortunately these straps were not durable enough for riding fixed gear with my platform pedals. I removed them once and reinstalled them, but the velcro stripped during the process of putting them back in the pedals and they fell apart later that day on a ride. Cheap but not worth buying unless you will rarely be using them.

Does what it is meant to, but overpriced for what it is.

I had a STROKE. [And I needed to learn how to walk & all that.] I bought a adult 3 wheel trike. I can't Keep My One Foot on The Paddle. This Works Great For me. I Keep It Is Lose, for Easy on & off. I Love It!

Easy to install. Well constructed. For the first month they held their shape well and while riding were easy to get my feet back into however now the nylon has softened and takes a bit of effort to get my feet back inside the loop while riding. Still, very effective and better than the cages I was using prior
