Review: Great Gen1 KLR 650 engine guards. - Bought these on a recommendation from my friend who also has a Gen1 KLR650. Arrived well packaged and no damage. Installed easily. Look great on the bike after install. Plus they have mounting tabs welded to the front bar that will allow you to add auxiliary lights. Only had one tip over so far and there was only a small scuff on the paint, and NO bending. I believe these give the best protection for the radiator and tank vs other brands for this bike.

Does it line up perfectly, no. Does it work though, yes. Easy enough to install even for one person. Just keep the hardware lose until you have it all in place then tighten eveything down. Material seems very durable so no complaints there.
