Case-Mate - iPhone 7 Plus Case - Naked Tough - for iPhone 7 Plus / 6s Plus / 6 Plus - Clear

This is my second case like this and I love it! First casemate was purchased from Sprint for $35 with my new phone & it has kept my phone secure for two years but certainly took the brunt of scratches and drops! There is no screen protector but apparently the edges of the case elavate the phone just enough to keep it from scratches if it’s laying face down. Even that one time it slipped out of my hand while riding my horse my phone survived a six-eight foot drop on a rocky trail! Whenever I would drop phone and found it was face down, I prayed each time I flipped it over. Prayers and Casemate have kept me from replacing my screen each time ;-) I have been well overdue and nice shiny replacement but procrastinating due to the original case’s cost and not finding a slim one like I like. But Amazon has ‘hooked me up’! I appreciate the super slim design so much I ordered the exact same case for a third of the cost thru Amazon! My iPhone still looked brand new after two years in a Casemate! Screw you Sprint!

This clear case didn't appear to be "new" as there were minor scratches inside the case. If it was used it would make sense as time goes by it's bound to get some wear and tear. And for the price I can't complain too much, since this case new would be a lot more. But I've gotten a new one of these types of cases before and it just seemed obvious that it was removed from the box, since aside from the scratches, it didn't come with any papers. That being said, it still performs great, as I have dropped my phone several times, and I know I can always trust Case-Mate.

I love the iridescent color of this case. I saw it in a store but the didn’t have it for the fit of my phone. I was bummed and kept looking for it. I ended up searching Amazon for it and found it. I am on my second case of this. I like to rotate my cases every now and then. In my move I can’t find my first case but I do remember I took it off because it scratched kind of easily and left scuff marks. So I ordered another one in hopes this one might not do the same thing. That’s the reason for the 4 Stars. I do wish this same case came in a harder shell. To me, it is easy to slip out of my hands so I added a ring attachment to the back I stick my finger in to help hold the case better. I do like the case and like I said this is my second time ordering.

I would have given this case 5 stars, but I have to return it because the phone's power button would not function once I placed the hard plastic case over the silicone ring piece. It's a shame, too as I had one, exactly like it before for my iphone 6, and it paid for itself many times over. It was durable, accidentally dropped on pavement or tile bathroom floors more than a handful of times, and only after the last fall (on an airport tarmac, no less) did the case start to crack in the bottom corner. It did get a bit dirty around the sides, but honestly, for the money, this case was a gem. I don't know if CaseMate changed these up a bit, or if I just got a bum one in a bunch. I'm sad because I really loved this case. Simple, functional and durable. Perfect. Too Bad. If there were changes, change it back, please. I'll buy another.

I purchased this new and received exactly what is pictured. I read a lot of reviews after I had already placed my order and began to worry that maybe I wouldn’t gotten jipped because it seemed like that’s what most people had said, but after reading all the reviews and receiving the product myself, I came to the conclusion that if you choose another buying option besides new, you’re probably more at risk of not receiving the right product. With that being said, mine is perfect! I ordered it for my iPhone 7 Plus and it fits perfectly and all port holes and buttons are exposed properly. It does smudge and get fingerprints easily, but I’m a person who cleans my phone constantly anyway and it’s beautiful regardless. I have a matte black iPhone 7 Plus and the iridescence doesn’t show any less as I expected it would. It still looks he same on my phone as it does in the picture.

Love this case! It looks beautiful on my phone. Quality made, not bulky. I like it because the volume and power buttons on the case are seperate silver (metal?) pieces and looks really nice. This is my second time buying this exact case, I accidentally dropped my iPhone 7+ (which this case one it) in a parking lot where it hit the pavement and went under my car. The phone totally survived... but the case did crack at the point of contact with the pavement, right on the antenna band on the side. The phone was not harmed at all, however, the case got a gnarly crack so I decided to replace it with the same one. Sleek and pretty. I recommend this case and others like it made by Casemate.

This is the second time I have purchased this case. It does tend to get dirty after a year or so, but what doesn't. My first one also had a couple cracks and fell apart when I took it off the phone (my phone died from the inside and had to be sent into​ the phone company) but the most important thing here is that MY PHONE NEVER BROKE. I have dropped it SO MANY times in parking lots, on sidewalks, and all types of cement. I also have a 2-year old who drops everything and I have never had a single scratch or crack in my phone. In fact, even after years of use, my phone looks brand new when taking the case off. Best case I've ever had and I continue to use these because they have saved my phone MORE TIMES than I can even count. Bravo casemate!!

So I really like this case and I have it on now. The only downside is over time it gets scratches and doesn’t look as “polished”.

I have been purchasing casemate cases for a few years. Last one lasted almost 2 years. This one I received on the 12th of August it is now the 19th and it is already broken. This is an authentic case - maybe things have went south for this company. Who knows, but for the price it shouldn’t be broken a week in.

I very love this iridescent case, is my second purchase already. On the left side is the case I got before, the right side is the one I got recently, not sure could you tell the one I got last time is definitely shinier and more iridescent like. The one I just got is a bit thinner and less pretty. So just for you guys know, what you pay for.

I ordered thinking I was getting the iridescent case mate case that is in the picture but instead I got a clear 1 piece flexible case. This is a clear case of false advertising! Don't get sucked in! I went to Best Buy today and bought the actual case mate case they show in the picture and it's beautiful. The clear plastic sleeve they actually send when you order is garbage!

Me encantó el acabado iridiscente. Aunque se ha rayado bastante con el paso de los meses, me parece que es de esperarse por el precio. Volvería a comprar Case Mate en otros diseños.

This phone case broke in one week.. it broke without being dropped. It’s was quite expensive for what it is.. garbage
