I bought this screwdriver for a project I was doing. I needed a small lightweight electric screwdriver because the project had a lot of screws that needed to be screwed in and I didn't want to use a manual one. I bought it mainly because of the reviews and the simple elegance to it. When It arrived I was shocked! The first thing that came to mind to describe this tool is "If Apple was to make an electric screwdriver, this is what it would be". The build quality on this is very impressive, the simplicity of the design is very Apple like. The case design is ingenious. It is a very well though out product. There is one rocker button for forward and reverse, a turn knob at the top for on/off and torque setting (of which there are three choices) and a USB-C port at the bottom end for charging, that's it. No unnecessary buttons, knobs or extra features, just plain, simple design. So how does it work? I used it on my project and was very happy with it. It has a lot more torque than I though it would. If I had to pick a negative point on this product it would be that it has so much torque it spins the screwdriver out of your hand when your done screwing something in. Unlike a drill, which when it reaches it torque limit makes a grinding sound to let you know it doesn't have enough torque to continue turning the screw or drill bit, this has so much torque on the lowest setting it spins the screwdriver out of your hand when you reach the end. The battery seemed to last a long time, I never ran out of power on my project and used it quite a bit. it has a nice assortment of bits that come with it and they seem to be good quality as well. The case is a metal cylinder, in which the bottom holds the bits in the outer part and the center holds the tool itself. A metal cylinder sleeve fits over it and locks into place by turning it. This is the best built, simplest design I have ever seen (again, very Apple like). I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting a high quality, easy to use electric screwdriver.

I bought this back in 2023 and it has been great. Pros: Great torque Takes standard screwdriver bits Long lasting battery at room temp USB C charging Very durable LED light is very functional Large button for easy to find with gloves Cons: The tools size is kind of bulky The case is only good for job site work and not work bench work The button does not differentiate between clockwise and counter clockwise very well I wish the LED was a little brighter Note: This is not a con of the tool, just a note for potential buyers. This tool mentions that it should not be used in extreme cold. It tested this out and left this tool in my garage for a few weeks while the temps were between 25 F to 5 F and the tool still works but the charge will not last for more then 10 to 20 minutes. I brought it back inside and let it warm up and it is holding a charge again. The tool still works when cold soaked but I would not recommend it. I have also dropped this electric screwdriver 20 plus times from four feet and higher and it still works as intended. I would buy this again.

Outstanding product! As a boomer who’s grown up using high-quality products for the majority of my life and seeing the deterioration of quality construction, and materials that we generally have these days, it was delightfully refreshing to find such a well-made product in today’s world at a reasonable price. It has an Apple-esq quality to it in terms of fit, feel and finish. The amount of torque and power that it has is impressive. Even the cylindrical case it came in was first class. I’m an inventor and I will be bringing a new product to market that needs to be assembled slightly by the user and is my intention to make an arrangement with Hoto whereby I can include one of these units along with my product to make it easier and more pleasurable for my clients to assemble and of course they can keep the tool which I’m sure they will love. One of the nicest products I’ve used in a long time and I highly recommend it!

After dozens of uses on the first day, I'm pleased. There's not a ton of grip on the handle, but I found myself using that as a feature so I don't over-tighten screws. There was plenty of torque for removing and installing deadbolt locks and door handles, which was what I was doing. I can always pull out my heavy drill if I need "brace it against your leg and hang on" torque. I don't have a lot of use for the fancy case, but the base is nice for holding bits. One little feature which would be nice would a extension bit for those times when the tool body interferes with nearby objects. The best thing for me is simply that I can keep a screwdriver bit in this and a drill bit in my drill, instead of switching bits as some projects seem to require. Another important thing is that the bit bases are the standard size, so bulk drywall bits and tools from most other kits are interchangeable.
