Be sure to thoroughly clean the surface to which you stick the lights with soap and remove oils and dust beforehand! I got these as a Christmas gift for the family but left them in a box for a year and a half until I finally got around to installing them. Wow, was it cool when I finally got them working. The setup was about as easy or hard as one might expect. I put them up in my back patio area along the ceiling/roof. The 3M sticky strip on the back side is not incredibly sticky, but it seems to have done the job so far. The lights have stuck in place for over a month now through sun and rain. The lights feel delicate. I suggest being extremely gentle with them and be careful not to bend them too much when installing them. All of my lights work great though. No dead LEDs. The lights are so bright that I turned them down to their absolute lowest setting so they wouldn't be too distracting. The lowest brightness setting is definitely acceptable, but I do wish I could make the lights dimmer yet, depending on the mood. I have two of the 30 ft strips, and their lighting effects remain perfectly synchronized, even after many hours of continuous operation. I used the grouping feature in the app, and I put them on a schedule. It's really cool that I was able to make them behave as a single long light strip where the lighting effects are totally seamless between the two strips. You cannot tell where one strip ends and the other begins with how seamless the effects are. The ability to setup lots of different types of entirely custom effects in the app is really cool too. I have 9 different types of smart lights from five different vendors, and these light strips are probably my favorite out all of them.

These Govee lights are pretty sweet. They're like 16 feet of colorful fun that you can stick almost anywhere. They come in a ton of colors, and you can even set them to change with your music, which is awesome for parties. Here's the good stuff: Colors galore: Seriously, there are so many colors to choose from, you'll have a hard time picking just one. Plus, you can make your own custom colors and effects if you're feeling creative. Voice control: Feeling lazy? No problem! Just use your voice to control the lights with Alexa or Google Assistant. No need to get off the couch. Segmented colors: This is the coolest feature. You can basically split the lights up into different sections and have each section show a different color. It's like having a mini light show going on in your room! App control: The app is easy to use and lets you do everything from changing the colors to setting schedules. A few things to keep in mind: Sticky situation: The adhesive on the back of the lights might not work the best on all surfaces. You might need some extra help to keep them in place. App hiccups: Sometimes the app can be a bit buggy, but hopefully, that's something they'll fix in the future. Overall, these Govee lights are a great way to add some fun and personality to your space. They're easy to use, have a ton of features, and are sure to impress your friends.

I love these lights! I ordered the other version last year of these lights that didn't have the protective coating on them; they were so flimsy and very easily damaged. These however are very sturdy, extremely bright, and have so many more features than the other ones via the Govee app. People mention how they don't stick to the wall well, but I haven't had any problems with that overall. I got the 65 ft set. A downside is supposedly you can't cut them so I just put the extra right below the other. I didn't want to risk messing something up. But I put garland over the lights anyway so it's not noticeable. I've read other reviews on these that talk about the limitations on the segmented sections. I don't care about doing anything super customized so that isn't a problem. The connectivity to my Google Home is totally fine. To be fair, our wifi setup is in the same room that the lights are in. When it comes to installation, I put them along the top of my wall with my husband unreeling them as we went, on the floor below. It's definitely a 2 person job especially if you get the coated strips. They can get quite weighty. I did have to screw in a couple of wall clips (that were provided in the box) to hold up the first bit of strip. I had trouble continuing without doing this first. The strip would just start to come right off from the weight. The box that connects the lights is pretty hefty. You'll definitely have to figure out where to sit it or hide it. Overall though, it's still a huge upgrade from the other version of Govee lights so I'm thrilled! I recommend them for the money!

It’s great and easy to install but I feel like the adhesive could be better. The adhesive on part of it fell off somehow which was really frustrating. It looks really good though and the lights are nice and bright. The lights can be customized via the app or even you Alexa which is really convenient, there’s different modes that include a sunrise simulation, and flashing lights. You can also control it remotely via a phone app.

I installed two of these sets on a section of kitchen cabinets - one on the top for fun lighting effects and on underneath to act primarily as tall lighting or a nightlight. These sets were easy to install and fit the space perfectly (after I measured beforehand). The app is easy to use for control, and I like the physical on-off button for further ease. They paired easily to my home WiFi network, and have been issue-free so far - no flickering or other color issues. They've been stable and the tape has held pretty well so far except on one tricky bend. Awesome kitchen lighting upgrade!

発色も良いし一度に複数の色を発光させることができるし、音楽連動や LEDテープ単体でもかなりの発光パターン(シーン)があるのが魅力です。 Alexaとの連動もできるし明かりのオンオフや色の変更以外にシーンの設定も 定型アクションでできます。 自分は基本的にGoveeの DreamView G1-Pro と連動させて利用しています。 天井とデスクの下に設置することで部屋全体がモニターの映像を映し出したように 発光させることができてとても満足です。 SwitchBotの製品よりかは値段は高いけどそれ相応の機能が詰まってます。 ちなみにテープはライトの部分が透明な材質で保護されていて すこしかたいのでLEDテープを貼る際は場所によっては工夫が必要になります。 それだけは注意が必要です。
