I am a swim coach and spend long hours on deck in the sun. Sunscreen is imperative . . . but I tend to forget my lips. This comes without any safety seals of any kind, it is simply in a ziplock bag. This is the typical squeeze tube with an angled head to apply the cream to lips. The cream is clear and has a thick consistency. It is difficult to get out of the tube if it is not warm. There was some scent but it is mild to the point that I wasn't really sure I was smelling it. There is no flavor or taste. This seems to last a good amount of time and stays where I put it. My lips don't feel dried after using it, although they aren't dewy they do feel protected.

This lip protection is the texture of Vaseline so very protective and makes lips comfortable and free from damage from the weather, especially in harsh climates. I did not have any reaction to the sun protection ingredients as I normally do. So all good! You may want to order two because the tube is really small. :) I can see this becoming essential in all seasons not just summer! Think skiing and surfing and hiking. This is applied by squeezing the product thru a small hole in the slanted applicator/top. It is very moisturizing, a little oily as it melts into your lips, not white, not stinky, not sticky & virtually tasteless. It makes your lips a little shiny but not full-on glossy. This is comfortable to wear & protected my lips from the sun.

My favorite part about this lip balm is the well-thought-out applicator. The slanted surface has a small hole from which the balm extrudes when applying pressure. It makes it much harder to make a mess when you forget to put the lid on or leave it out. It is also less likely to dry out. The lid screws on and is less likely to come off accidentally. Applying the balm to my lips is easy with some squeezing, and a little bit goes a long way. I love that it is flavorless, unlike the other brands of lip balms. It does a great job of moisturizing my lips, and it seems to last for quite a while. I have not been able to try out the sun protection properties, but it appears to be a well-made product that should leave my lips in good shape during outdoor activities.
