How do you make the noise activated lights stay on constantly, even when there is no noise? I've only been able to do it twice, by accident.

Can you connect pieces of the strip together? Ex. connecting a previously cut off line of lights to the main piece/adding on to the preexisting 50ft

The lights worked fine when I installed them on the ceiling, now they are slowly turning off from the end. How do I get them back on?
