Will these be strong enough to hold up greeting cards on a ribbon or twine?

Yes, definitely! They are definitely strong and sturdy enough to hold up most types of paper crafted things. I've used mine to hold up pictures (up to 8x10 sizes) on twine. I've also used just two to clip posters on twine and that's held up really well. There's been no slippage and they are sturdy enough to stay put despite the small size.

what is the width of the clip?

The wooden clips is about 5mm wide.

How wide are these clothespins? Are they 3.5cm long or 2.5cm long?

I ordered white ones they are apricot 1.3 inch long and hold about 5 lbs easy.

Where are these made?

Sticker says made in China. I will never understand why in this great country we can’t make a simple product like mini clothes pins.
