how is this brush with static?

It doesn't seem to add static. I always wet my kids hair before I brush it. The brush is so soft and not hard and scratchy. But I'd still does a good job brushing hair.

Would this be good for an 18 month old girl?

Hi, yes this is perfect for any age, even adults. Helps with oil distribution on your child’s scalp to promote healthy hair growth.

Does anyone else’s brush shed?

No, I love this brush and so does my baby! It’s so gentle and soft and it doesn’t shed. ❤️
