A coworker told me I should try using coconut oil. Of course I was skeptical but decided to look into it. After doing some research I purchased another organic brand elsewhere. I chose this other brand because it was not supposed to have any taste or smell which I preferred so that I could use it to cook with as well and not have it add any odd taste to what I was making. I also started using this other brand on my face and hands and my skin did start to improve. So I then did more research and learned that I should really get a organic cold pressed version which led me to your product. The Anjou coconut oil is wonderful. I am using it for skincare and I can't believe how much my skin has improved. After all those dermatologist visits and all those prescriptions I had no idea there could be such a simple answer. I am using the Anjou coconut oil for skincare and using the other brand I bought for cooking as the Anjou coconut oil does claim to be free of taste or smell. If you are one one who does not like strong scent this product would still be a great choice. It only has the faintest scent of natural coconut. It's good for your face and as nighttime cream and your body when you get out of the shower. It also works on sunburns, I put a small jar in the freezer for the kids. I also give my dogs a teaspoon everyday for there joints and skin. It makes their coats soft and smooth. As a hair treatment, I can honestly say that it was superior to the other coconut oil and coconut based product I bought. After one treatment, my hair was much softer. I now use it twice a week and I am seeing less breakage, more shine (without a greasy look or feel) and less of that brittle look and feel that comes with having severely damaged hair. I won't say it "repairs" hair, because nothing can do that.
