One of the main selling points of this touch monitor is the Linux compatibility. For me I connected my new touch screen monitor to a Raspberry Pi 400 computer kit. I run Q4OS on my Pi 400 and everything worked out of the box. The touch works, the sound through the mini HDMI to the monitor works, and the USB ports work. I have a X86 tablet with Q4OS, and touch worked out of the box. That said I pretty sure if you were to connect this monitor to a X86 desktop with Linux as the main OS, I feel confident it would all work out of the box.

Why I ordered this item: I run a small retail setup and I've been looking for a touchscreen monitor that doesn't feel like a toy. Most of the cheap ones I've tried have a funky lag where the touch input doesn't match where your finger lands. I wanted something that felt responsive. Likes: * The touch response on this thing is zippy. I tap something and it registers instantly. No delay, no drift, no recalibration weirdness. * The screen itself looks great. Colors are bright and the image is sharp even when you're looking at it from a pretty steep angle. * I set this up on a counter and the stand is sturdy. I was pressing pretty hard on the screen during testing and it didn't rock around or tip. * Ten point multitouch is insane for a monitor at this price. I had two people using it at the same time and both inputs registered correctly. No likes: * The price is outrageous for what most people will use this for. If you just need a basic kiosk monitor, there are cheaper options. This is only worth the cost if you need the touch accuracy and build quality. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: The glass feels solid and the whole thing has a commercial grade look to it, not like something you'd grab off a shelf at a big box store. The touch input is the real story here; it tracks fast and clean. Just know you're paying a lot for that.

Just wondering if anyone had expericed the ghost touch issue with this monitor? I would really appreciate if you could share the best solution to this. We are using these to our clinics and some of them have this issue.

I returned item on 11/26 and Amazon refused to refund even though I had their RA number and it showed it was returned to their facility on 11/26. $303 down the drain. Corporate will not help either. Big run around

I'm using this to control my CNC machine. It's poll mounted over the machine out of the way. The monitor tolerates the dust a lot better than the keyboard and mouse could. The screen is not overly sensitive. It took a little getting used to the touch. I'm happy with it.

If your setting up a work station for a laser I would consider using a touch screen, it has made things so much easier, on screen keyboard and the on screen mouse is nice feature. the screen quality is very good, for the price its worth able to do things without a key board and mouse.

I use this as a portable touch screen with the YoloBox and it works great!
