I ordered this thinking I was paying $209, but when it arrived it was $356. Was going to return it due to price increase but when I saw the teak wood, I decided to splurge and keep it. Very simple to put together, tool included plus a spare of each screw. Beautifully made, finished and designed. So graceful. Very sturdy/solid. Gave me security in the shower after knee replacement. Everything is so typical of a company being owned and operated by women. I am so glad I kept it despite the price increase.

I ordered this amazing product, and it took at least ten days to arrive, upon delivery the oiter box was fairly in tact I unboxed the various components to find that the tob wooden bracket from one of the sides was broken down the middle, probably an item defect, so I ordered a refund and will buy the same item again.

This teak seat is beautiful much nicer than the pictures! It’s heavy, solid and comfortable. The teak wood coloring is absolutely beautiful. Makes master bathroom look elegant. So glad I bought this. Personally I think it’s worth more that I paid for it.

After purchasing several "assembly required" shower chairs and finding parts missing befudling instructions (or no instructions) I bought this one. It came in two days fully assembled. Packaged well, no damage. Sturdy, extremely well made. It is made in Indonesia (not China!). There is some weight to it, it will not break, wobble or sag, that is for sure. You do not need a Cushion or towel to sit on it. The seat is very comfortable with a slight curve and the wood is fitted seamlessly. The four legs each have a round hard rubber piece to protect your shower or tub. You can get it wet and it does not stain. Here are the things I do to preserve the chair and protect my shower from any marks or scratches. After you finishing wiping down the shower I dry off the chair completly, including the legs, rubber feet, and under the seat and the very convenient shelf. The wood is very smooth with nothing to snag your towel or skin. I store the seat in the shower, making sure the shower floor is completely dry. If you let the hard rubber feet stay wet, or leave them sit in a wet spot, I am sure there will be a mark over time. That is the nature of rubber in water. So dry it off. I then turn the chair on its side so the feet are not in contact with the floor. No possibility if rubber marks this way. I understand that some people may not be able to lay it on its side do to the weight of the chair. And, subsequently set it upright when you want to use it. In that case, after drying the chair double up a towel or two and put it under the legs of the chair. Remember, the weight of the chair is what you want so that it will not break and will last a long time. I recommend this chair highly. Waste no time on other chairs, or cheaper chairs, or chairs made in China. I tried them and none of them are worth buying.
