I am a size 26 which is xxxl and honestly never wore a shapewear in my life and I needed one for a gown the next day ( I never wear dresses - ever). This shapewear came out of the package looking like a 9 month baby pants. I thought it would never fit because i have a really big tummy hanging low but I tell you it once I put one legs through, I was amazed. The leg part was stretchy but thick and firm. The other legs went in easy stretch. Then I laid down on the bed and the tummy part went up really well and easy. I got my daughter to pull the back up for me and I was in my first ever shapewear. The tummy part was thicker than the legs part but still firm and stretchy and took all the floppy skin in. Through the night, I had no discomfort at all. Very comfortable and did not dig into my skin at all and amazingly the thigh part of the shapewear did not roll up on me so I would say this is the first and best shapewear in have worn.well worth the money.

Good product. Needed them post op, along with a compression bra and socks, for a few. weeks. These were recommended and have proved to be pretty comfortable for 24 hr wear without riding up or down. Bonus is that they give smooth lines under clothes, so I'll get wear out of them afterwards. Wash well and dry quickly. Don't use fabric conditioner.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. After only one wear ( for 2 hours) it is good to go in the garbage bin! See photos ! Unacceptable and a WASTE OF MONEY !

Gives a good shape around the middle - supporting bum and tummy area Leg parts seem to be there to help the upper parts give shape - these do not seem to shrink the thighs in any way, and after a long day with much walking these do ride up a little. But not uncomfortable in any way. Thin enough not to show under clothing, but sturdy enough to hold the shape where it’s needed. Top part reaches my ribcage area and doesn’t ping down at all during the day, it stays in place and holds shape well. Going to the bathroom in them is not a problem, unlike other brands where it’s like a wrestling match. Easy to wash and doesn’t loose shape or elasticity, or colour. Good material, comfortable. Supportive

The part for the tummy is too high and so does not bring your my belly in! which is a pity but I bought it more for my thighs so I dont mind. Good quality.

Ok, let’s be honest - this product doesn’t make your stomach flat like a model’s. BUT it does remove those horrible wobbly rolls (at least for me it does) and it fills me with such an amazing confidence. As soon as I wore it, I can happily kiss goodbye to wobbly rolls and thigh chafing. In fact, I’ve ordered a second one so I can always have one spare whilst the other is in the wash. I have so much confidence wearing this. Yes, I am a large lady (live in leggings and wear a size 16-18 uk size) but an XL version of this is helping me so much to feel confident wearing dresses again.

A lot of reviews said to size down, however I ordered my normal size which was a little big but nothing major. It definitely works as shapewear. However as I was trying it on I noticed the seams around the inner thigh had holes in them. A bit disappointed that the product was either not brand new or the quality wasn’t as good as advised.

Light support, however stayed up all day. Lightweight and comfortable.

This is my first time wearing shapewear but not my first time with compression garments, and I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable it was. As in the model pictures, it does go up to around the ribcage area, which I expected to be uncomfortable (especially as I've worn binders for years and have some rib pain in general). Surprisingly, no issues there. Moreover, no issues with rolling down; there are little grippy bits that help keep it in place, which I found a bit itchy against bare skin but not too uncomfortable. I did get used to it after a couple of days. This won't take you from an XXL to a M but I did find that clothes fit a little "better" for lack of a better word, especially around my tummy area. I also have thunder thighs and they've helped a lot with chub rub. I also could eat comfortably with the shapewear on and had no issues taking it off to go to the restroom, or when changing clothes at the end of the day. Really happily surprised at how easy it was to use given the nightmare stories I've heard about shapewear. Not sure if this particular shapewear offers less compression than others and thus is easier to use, but I'll take the tradeoff in slimming effect for being able to breathe/eat/exist with relative comfort. Pros: - surprisingly comfy, not too tight/constricting - does help smooth rolls/overall compression (of course, be realistic) - helps with chub rub if you have thicker thighs Cons: - way too hot to wear on a proper hot day. Even on a warmer spring day, this would be just a tad too warm for comfort imo. So, only realistically usable (again, imo) for roughly half the year - itchy waistband material - can be a bit hard to get in/out of for the very first time - not "seamless"/invisible (will show through most materials if you wear tighter clothing)

I wanted to post an initial review in case anyone like me has events this weekend and is considering buying this. TL; Dr: these shaper shorts are great if you're looking for light compression/support and some smoothing. As a tall plus size woman (5'11", 310lbs, 50-46-56, usually wear a 3x/4x), this item suits my needs to look a bit smoother under clingy dresses, prevent thigh chafing, and provide some abdominal compression for POTS symptoms relief. I have my highschool reunion this weekend and will be wearing a bodycon dress, so I wanted some shaper shorts that would smooth me out a bit without being uncomfortable. The mixed reviews on this item scared me a bit, but so far I'm glad I took a chance. I've been wearing them to work the past couple of days to test them out in case I needed to switch sizes or to another brand. These shaper shorts are surprisingly comfortable for having a decent amount of light-modedate compression. While I'm tall, I'm also quite short-waisted with a long hip/pelvis, and carry most of my weight in my stomach, butt, and upper thighs. The waistband comes all the way up to my bra line, but so far has not rolled down thanks to the fabric quality and small stays strategically placed. The legs are also a great length to not roll on my thick thighs - I'm easily able to adjust them higher or lower depending on the length of my skirt. The fabric is fairly breathable and soft, doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Other than the very top of the waistband, I can't feel them on after a bit. I'm glad I went with the 4x instead of the 3x. My measurements were on the low end of the 4x, and I decided to opt for comfort over stronger compression. The shorts are quite stretchy, and I imagine someone several inches bigger than me could comfortably wear them. The shorts washed fine in a laundry bag on delicate cycle and didn't shrink too much. I can't speak to their long-term durability and performance, but I will update this review after my events with pictures and final thoughts. Overall, I definitely can recommend these to others looking for similar qualities in shaper shorts. I hope this review helps other tall plus size women as I know how hard it is to find comfortable, flattering clothing for us.

I needed new shapewear but did not want to pay a lot for it. The reviews of this pair of Shapermint shorts were good and the price was right, so I gave it a try. AWESOME! So comfortable, holds me in in all the places I need and I can wear these all day with no discomfort. I would not mind some more compression on the tummy but I am not sure I want to size down for it and risk them not fitting. I am 5'3", 180 lbs and got the XL - XXL. I am going to buy another pair!

I bought these SHAPERMINT High Waisted Body Shaper Shorts to wear under my wedding dress, which is being custom made, so I needed something that would smooth and support without being super uncomfortable. I honestly wasn’t looking forward to wearing shapewear. I haven’t worn any in years and my past experiences weren’t great. I was pleasantly surprised by how good these are. They took a few centimetres off my waist and smoothed everything out without feeling too tight or restrictive. Compared to shapewear I’ve worn in the past, these are much more comfortable. The material feels firm but breathable, and the boning adds extra support without digging in or rolling down. I wore them for a decent amount of time to test comfort and they were comfortable enough to wear all day. Overall, I’m really happy with them and would definitely recommend them, especially for special occasions like a wedding but also for everyday wear.
