You can get a male XLR cable to 3.5mm, or a RCA male to 3.5mm. Assuming you have a headphone jack on your computer. **Q: Do these speakers come with a power cable? And if so, how long is it?** A: Yes, there is an included power cord. It’s approximately 5-6 ft long. **Q: im not an audiophile like the rest of you. how do you hook this up? will it interface with a smartphone with a headphone jack?** A: Well, yes, you COULD connect one of these to a smartphone (using an adapter); but that's not the primary use of these speakers. These are studio monitors, used for audio production (recording.mixing). They would be waaaay overkill for using with a smartphone. The value for the money is awesome. The frequency response is pretty well behaved. I have some room mode issues I need to EQ, but these are great out of the box. They don't get super loud especially at some distance. If you want these for a desk, they're great (though large), if you want them for listening at a distance, make sure you don't listen too loud. I'm generally around 85dB or 9ft/3m and they're good for that. Lots of options on the back.Things I don't like:1. The blue light! Why do they go with an annoying blue light that cannot be turned off?? I had to resort to gaffer tape.2. Pretty big in size.3. Wish they could get louder.4. As long as I'm wishing and since they seem to do DSP internally, I wish they had a high pass filter option if I'd be using them with a sub and don't have another option for doing the crossover.They're great for the money though.
