This is an awesome makeup bag! I actually have a travel makeup bag, but was looking for something for my brushes. I came across this and liked it because of the brush holders. Everything can be stored together. I don't usually write reviews but I felt compelled to in this case because so many of the other reviews for this product are sponsored. Nothing wrong with that, I just thought others might appreciate an in-sponsored review. That said, I agree with what many of the other reviews say. This is a great bag - it's large, it looks to be constructed well (handle, stitching, etc), and the brush holders, mesh compartments, etc are great. There were a couple things I was worried about (based on other reviews) - the zipper and the inside fabric. The zipper works well - completely fine and just as expected. The fabric is indeed light and may not be "officially" water or stain proof, but it is "slick" and could be easily wiped down. I like light interiors because it makes things easier to see/find. Although, yes, the chances of getting dirty are high. One last thing I wanted to comment on - the structure of the sides. I think they are perfect. They are rigid enough that the sides stay up even when the bag is not full (which makes it easy to use this bag right on the counter top). But, they will still squish down a bit when you are packing this inside a large suitcase, which I like (I did not want a hard-sided case). I'm very happy with this bag and the price can't be beat!

A little small, but I love it... so I just bought a second. The other "large makeup bags" are ridiculous looking, flop and tip and have terrible zippers, this is an elegantly made beautiful bag, go for it. Wonderful company, wonderful bag!UPDATE: I just purchased my THIRD Ellis James Designs, Large Quilted "Train Case" Organizer!! Now if that isn't the best recommendation you've heard, I'll go on... This case offers a large capacity and a uniquely elegant design with internal pouches, and a truly sturdy double zipper closure. The material is applied in a beautiful quilted design that can be easily sponged clean, when necessary, the interior is protected with a water resistant material and adorned with multiple pouches and compartments. The size is 12.6 x 5.7 x 5.9 inches and weights only 11 ounces. Lightweight and incredibly stylish! These now come in two colors, the light ivory and now black, but I purchased all three of mine in the light ivory, I've decided to add lovely little scarves to the handle of each so I can tell them apart without opening them. An idea I borrowed from an Estee Lauder bag I saw for sale here on Amazon, it's a lovely touch and adds even more sophistication to these already elegant bags. As you might imagine, I HIGHLY recommend them!! I love the soft sided material, and the exceptionally high quality design and construction. I'm sure you'll agree they are so much more elegant than the gaudy colored floppy alternatives out there. Do something wonderful for yourself and get one... or two of these charming and sophisticated bags. You'll love them!!

Although I bought the Ellis James Designs Large Travel Makeup Bag in January of this year, I wanted to wait until I had time to use it several times before writing a review. I'm so glad I did, because it is even better than I had hoped when I ordered it, and better than it appeared when I opened it, and better than the first trip in which I used it. First, the delivery is lovely, packaged in it's own box with tissue paper. Very nice touch! The company treats their products as special and, therefore, the presentation to the customer is special. For something like a makeup bag this is important, because you keep your personal makeup and other items inside and you want it to be new and clean. Let's just say, I was appreciative. Second, the makeup bag is very pretty. Some women may not care about design or how attractive a bag is, but it is an item I use a lot and enjoy how pretty it is. I like my girly things! :) Along with the appearance, the color is soft and the interior is a light color, which again makes it nice to use and easy to find my items. So nice that the makeup bag is not square (like most makeup bags), but rectangular, which is longer and provides more storage space. Third, the inside is roomy and allows me to pack all my "prep" items (makeup, lotions, makeup remover, comb, brush, additional small items, and on top - my curling iron!). I looked at several other makeup bags (caboodles and everything in between) before finding the Ellis James Large one. Couldn't be happier with my choice! This bag also would make a lovely gift for a daughter, mother, sister, friend, and for sure, a bride. It is that nice!

This Ellis James Designns large travel make up bag organizer it’s just the perfect size to hold everything you might need to take when you’re traveling… as you can see there is still plenty of room to add more items to this cosmetic bag so nothing has to be left at home… I intend to add a hand mirror and perfume and anything else I might need to take when I board the plane and go on my travels! I highly recommend this for the quality and the design … now I’m all set for my Crystal Cruise…WooHoo!!!

Great size and just what I was looking for from that perspective. Appears to be well constructed and sturdy. My only "negative" if you can even call it that is that some of my large make-up brushes are almost too big for the brush pockets on the lid. I need 2 hands to put them away...one to pull up the edge of the elastic pocket and the other to slide the brush in. Only slightly inconvenient and I still highly recommend this bag for anyone needing more space to store make-up and accessories.

Sac assez grand avec des rangements comme pour les pinceaux et où mascara et autre situer en dessous du couvercle, se qui laisse toute la place pour ranger vos produit dedans. C est bien vue et un gagne place.

This travel bag is stunning! I am so pleased with my purchase. It arrives in beautiful packaging, looks expensive and the quality is high. It fitted all my tall toiletries with no problems. The bag is reasonably sturdy and came out intact from the suitcase during transit.I will definitely purchase from Ellis James Designs again.
