These are nice valves. This is the second pair that I’ve purchased to replace the OE valves on two different Hunt wheelsets that kept clogging at the rubber base on the inside of the rim. The muc-off valves are metal at the bottom with a + shaped channel in it. I don’t really know if that’s the secret sauce or not - but they’re simple to install, look great, and haven’t clogged yet. The colors pop (I have a purple set on one bike and a pink set on the other), and the metal caps are the nicest I’ve seen. So much better than the usual plastic caps that crack or get stripped out! If you need new valves? But without hesitation. Zero issues for me with setup using the installed rubber gaskets, but extras are included to fit different rim drillings. Just be careful not to drop the small o-ring that sits under the nut against the rim. They’re small and hard to find if they roll on the ground. lol

These were my first self-installed tubeless valves. My shop had used them on a previous tubeless install. They were installed on a pair of 40 mm high rims. I ordered the gold because, hey why not? They went on easily with no problems or tools. They seal well, pump just like valves on a tube. Of course if sealant gets into the valve, it will restrict airflow, just like any other valve. They were pricey, but well built and worth the $.

I really like the inside end of the valve because of the 6 channels that allow unrestricted air flow and allow for a 4mm hex to properly tighten the valve to the rim. The added rubber gasket seals are convenient for different shaped rims. The valve core remover works well and doubles as a valve cap. They look great and are made of 7075 aluminum so they’re stronger than other aluminum valves on the market. The valve nut has a narrow groove where the rubber o-ring fits slightly inside of, preventing the o-ring from deforming while tightening the nut against the rim. My only knock is that they should include a spare valve core, but they still deserve a 5 star rating.

Love how useful the caps are. They’re a little pricey, but the quality is obvious. No leakage from the 4 I’ve installed. Sometimes the caps get stuck, but I’m sure that’s a product of their environment.

These fit great in my tubeless wheels (Bontrager Aeolus XXX). They do not leak when installed properly. They come with 3 types of rubber bases for different rim shapes. A rubber O-ring seals under the nut. Includes two caps and one cap with an integrated valve core tool. The length measurement is from the base to the top of the valve core. The threads around the stem extend down the entire length of these.

These valve stems are awesome and I highly recommend Muc Off. I use their cleaner as well and it's great. These stems fit my tubeless rims great and sealed right up. Plus they look awesome. They were easy to install.
