Yes, the doll can sit and stand. Does not bend at knees.

Does she have the oversized head in comparison to her body?

I don't know that the head is oversized but, characteristic of this collection, the eyes are definitely oversized to give the appearance of a younger character.

Yes you can pose the dolls with there arms up or down, you can make them sit but you cannot bend the arms from the elbow.
