I very much recommend these personal alarms that go off loud and clear when unplugged from strap - and keep right on sounding off until plugged back in. They definitely attract plenty of attention, which is just the opposite of what someone who'd try to assault, rob or otherwise victimize you wants. Plenty to hand out to family, friends & neighbors too!

I like to walk every day in my neighborhood. While it's a pretty safe place, we are near a very large city and sometimes the less-that-well-intended folks end up our way. It's nice to know that if I ever feel threatened, I have a quick and easy way to draw attention to myself with very little effort. Just one quick tug on the little "rope" and this tiny piece of plastic ROARS! No, I'm not naive enough to think that it's enough to stop someone who is intent on causing harm, but it will draw attention and hopefully bring help. This is also a great item for a parent to give to their young child in case he/she accidentally wanders off and is lost or feels threatened. There are so many uses. Overall, I think this is a great product at a very fair price.

These are VERY LOUD alarms. I use them on my backpacks and purse. Hook the ring end to the backpack and when you put it down next to the chair or table, slip the black loop under the leg. If someone grabs it and runs, they will quickly drop the "screaming" backpack. I have one on my keyring and can pull the pin and it "screams" a lot more attention than I could ever get with just my yell for help. Put one on your child's belt loop and teach them to pull it if they ever need help. It will continue to "scream " until you put the pin back into the device. I even use it on doors, attaching the black loop to a door knob and the ring to a nail or hook on the frame. I have one attached to my portable grill and the table it sits on, if someone decides to try to walk off with it, the device will go with them. They are not likely to take time to find it and pull it off. The hope is the minute they move the grill, it will alarm and they will panic and run. I buy these by the dozens. Makes great adult stocking stuffers or tokens of appreciation. Put a logo and use it for promo items. This little light on it is pretty bright and handy too.

We needed a multi pack to hand one out to everyone in the family. Everyone can benefit from this alarm, from grandpa incase he falls, to the kids walking to school. These are loud and easy to use when needed. Well worth the money for all of these!

It's not the most attractive device and the black strap off the side is a little awkward. The sound it emits is super loud and I would guess will draw lots of attention to you which is the purpose of buying it. I hope my girls never have to use it but I'm glad it is available. I wish the pull was from the top and that the flashlight would stay on instead of having to hold the button for the light to stay on. I probably would not use the flashlight much though anyway so not a huge deal. There were 12 for $30 great deal!!

Bought these for the women & girls in my life. They all seemed to like them. The siren is very loud. Seems like they would be a good deterrent for them if needed. Easy to use. Can hook to purse or backpack easily.

With a simple pull of the black cord you can easily steer off an attacker. Or great gift for people who are prone to falls. It is loud enough I can pull the cord outside and be heard in home by my spouse with the surround sound on! Handy flashlight as well . As a Realtor I feel safe showing homes with this and my mace. 5/5 stars for sure! I’m ordering more to give to clients!

I ordered 12 to give to family and friends- some now, some for Xmas. The order arrived quickly. There were 12 different colors- black, white, silver, gray, purple, aqua, pink and various shades of blues. All were nice. I tested them all and they worked. I will have to Make a copy of instructions to put with each, since there was only one - not a big deal. I am very pleased - and 12 for $30 is a sweet deal!
