PF-05 - Druckkopf by Canon

Bought a cheap knock off before and got burned. This one installed and worked right away!

Works fine in my ipf8400 printer. Installation and calibration went as normal and my printing profiles appear unaffected by the head change. As far as I can tell this is a new head with the "days" and "dots" counts set to near zero after installation. The packaging material is identical in every detail to the other sets I still have. The serial number does seem to be on a different sequence than other heads I have received, most of which were Canon factory refurbs replaced in warranty. I don't know what to make of that. When I called Canon tech support about the failed head that this new one replaces, he said the new one would be covered by the current version of the Canon warranty, which is now basically one year from installation (it was previously one year from purchase).

Used this to replace the left printhead on my Canon iPF8400 after 1146 days life and 1140000 Mdots printed I started getting a blue cast to the sides of certain printed objects and all attempts to calibrate the printhead failed. I narrowed it down to the Cyan nozzles on the left printhead and decided it was time to replace. Process was easy and the new printhead completely fixed the problems. I received a genuine Canon PF-05, was skeptical because of reviews but I am positive it was a new unopened printhead Box was closed with the printhead sealed in the factory bag. The box was labeled with a serial number as well. 100% genuine, just double check yours when you get it (always good to be safe)

Good price for anew head. Unfortunately the Canon print heads rae not known for longevity.

The product was exactly as described. It is an original Canon product for a very complex and diverse printer.

This item was meant to come in a sealed foil with a glove for replacement. The print head was unwrapped in box when opened.

I would buy this Print Head again. It arrived on time and it is not as expensive as some.

Having owned a Canon iMage Prograf 8400 for ten years I have replaced printheads along the way. The quality of this PF-05 printhead is no different than any I have used in the past. Great price by far.

I was trying to save money not buying a whole new printer. But buying this for $400 and now it being un-usable is really frustrating.

ヘッドは予備で購入したので、プリンターに装着していません。 プリンターにはヘッドが二個搭載されていて、左右ヘッドで使用するインクが違う事から、右に使ったものは左に、左に使ったものは右には使えません。 ヘッドにチップが組み込まれていて、物理的に装着できても使用はできないようになっています。 なので未使用品でないと、ストックする意味もありません。 開封済みですが未使用との事で購入しましたが、キャップにインクが付着していて、明らかに使用済み品でした。新品には、インクの付着はありませんし、インクがヘッド内に固着する可能性があるのであり得ません。 ちなみに使用しているヘッド自体は、解像度も高く、精細なプリントが出来るので、大判プリンターとして素晴らしい性能です。値段が高いので★四つです。
