Just fine, best price at time of purchase
Fine. Value. Very, very slight odor, clean burn. Was not planning to use indoor, but after using outside I'd have no issues bringing it inside. Using in a vintage Dietz railroad signal lantern.

Slight odor, but better than Ultra-Pure
I will use Medallion until someone points to a better oil. My wife has a very sensitive nose, and came down to the basement and asked me what the odor was. This was with Ulta-Pure.

Buy It Local
Good: This is Medallion, "the good stuff". A good quality kerosene replacement for your oil lamps, both vintage and modern. It performs excellently in my growing collection of lamps and lanterns. Raw Kerosene is not available in my area, so I can't do a 1v1. However I have good reason to suspect that this stuff is significantly less smelly than kerosene. That said, it DOES have a smell, particularly depending on what kind of lamp you're using it in. Cold-blast tubular lanterns are the worst offenders, while my small dead-flame lamp with a proportionately large wick smells the least, presumably thanks to a particularly strong draft in this specific design. Burn life is perfectly adequate. I hit close to the advertised runtimes for my lamps. Bad: Shipping this stuff is very expensive, especially in these small quantities. Prime may offer "free" shipping, but you're still eating that cost in the form of the sticker price. I can buy this exact bottle locally for less than 1/4 of what I paid here, or 1/3 of the sale price as of typing this review. My bottle was not packed at all inside of its box, and had been scuffed up by handling. However other than cosmetics, it arrived intact and not leaking. Final Verdict: Only order this if you cannot buy it in-store, or if for some reason your in-store stuff is stupidly expensive. Otherwise, it's still the fuel you know and love.

Amazing, almost no smell at all!
I can not believe how little it smells while burning. Iโve used other brands in the past and the smell of all of them were way worse than this by a long shot! I donโt know how it could smell any less unless it wasnโt burning anything except maybe olive oil. Itโs the best Iโve ever used.

Exactly what I was looking for
I have an indoor oil lamp and after doing some research found this product. It seems to be working fine and if we lose power again, I will have a chance to really see how it performs over a long period. For now, I know I have safe oil that works well in my lamp and am prepared for the next power outage.

Best oil for lamps due to no odor
I highly recommend this brand and type of oil for lamps AND oil candles over the paragon based oils so readily available. The paraffin based oil is loaded with solvents that serve to keep the wax in liquid form, and certainly give off an odor. The paraffin based oil might be fine for outdoor use, but of you plan to use your oil lamps or oil candles indoors, this is the stuff you want.

We use this with our metal wick candles in a glass vase. It burns quite well and is smokeless. I would recommend it. ๐
