I bought this so called plantain slicer after searching in Amazon for a long while. Apparently there aren't any plantain slicers. This appeared to be the only plantain slicer. It looks adjustable from the diagram, right? No, wrong! It had a rod across with a screw at one end as you can see. Never mind all that! It does absolutely nothing. Noting about this is adjustable. The design and style looks like an old 18 century mouse trap. It may slice plantain though but it is certainly difficult to use. The fact that you can't adjust it only adds to how worthless it is. I certainly would not recommend this slicer, off course except he sold it as a woodpecker.

OK, so I love the product but there is something I have to say and it is a bit of a warning: I opened the package and found the product wrapped in plastic. in attempting to pull the plastic off the product I unfortunately cut two of my fingers on the very sharp blade that had no protective plastic or other material on it and it is very easy to cut oneself on this because it is razor sharp. I think it is a dangerous way to ship this product and something definitely should be done about it. My fingers are wrapped in bandages right now and as I use my hands all the time, I expect this may also be the case for others. Just a sharp warning about the product's packaging.

Es fácil d usar, y tiene muy buen filo pues ya he perdido unas cuantas capitas de mi piel por descuidada, muy fácil d limpiar pero llevo usándolo un buen tiempo y para ajustarlo por el tornillo q trae a pesar d ser simple no agarraron rosca no se queda la cuchilla de cortar en el lugar q debería es decir el ajuste no logra su propósito y durante el uso se mueve mucho
