USB A Male to 12V Car Cigarette Lighter Socket Female Converter Cable (8W Max)

My new truck came with USB ports, but no 12V cigarette lighter sockets. I have several electronic devices that use the 12V and these adapters worked great.

Works wonderful. I use it to power a dash cam with portable battery packs. The fitting is a tad on the loose side, but works well enough. Could also be my dashcam plugs issue and not the socket. Despite getting thrown about my vehicle for months, it hasnt missed a beat.

I got this 1 foot USB to 12V adapter cable to power my Uniden R3 radar detector in my car and it works great! It can also probably power a dash cam, but I haven't tried it. The build quality seems OK at best. Easy to install and easy to use, just plug it in and go!

Only 4 stars because this didn't work for us - while this is a 12V adapter, the power supply from the USBC in our 2025 Chevy truck is only 5V - so it would not power our RV rear facing camera (Furrion brand). It consistently went between picture & blank screen every 10 seconds. The camera has the "cigarette lighter" power cord but the new truck does not have that power supply option.

Amazon has everything y’all! I needed this adapter to charge a flashlight in a car and Amazon wins again. The quality is good and price was right. Fit great into the lighter 12v power source in the car.

Yes it works. It’s easy to use. However it’s bends way too easily and breaks. If you have kids where this will be plugged it don’t bother. They need to make the usb part flat and less flimsy. So when and if it gets pressed on it doesn’t bend and is more flush. There’s little noise when plugged in and when it was working it worked for my dvd player to plug in. The heat level isn’t too bad it gets warm but nothing crazy.

I use this in my new truck that has no lighter plug. Works well.

This converter cable does the job, but it’s limited. It can only power small, low-wattage items like a phone charger—anything higher draw won’t work. The build quality is fine, and it’s handy in certain situations, but don’t expect it to run larger accessories. A decent cable for light use, but not a full replacement for a real 12V outlet.

Excellent product, exactly as described. Works well. Time will tell of the longevity of the product. for the low price i would highly recommend.
