Can you change the word "dog" to any other animal. We're always asking eachother if someone fed our fish.

Look for one with fish...I ordered the one for dog and at the bottom of the page it showed similar items and one was did you feed the fish...

What if you don't remember what day it is?

I also recommend purchasing a dementia clock (generally used by people with dementia and Alzheimer patients) that displays the time, the day of the week, as well the day's date and the year (it has an easy-to-read large display). Svinz makes a good one that is large and sits on any wall or table. You can have one clock in your living room and another in your bedroom, wherever you store, your supplements and medications.

Yes, you can use it for anything you can feed.

“Mounts almost anywhere.” How? Is it magnetic?

No. Not magnetic. I thought it was. It came with 2 double sided sticky tape circles to mount it. I wanted it on fridge, but not with tape. I had a few 8.5" × 11" magnetic sheets with a peel off outer sheet that's sticky. I've used them in the past to make my business cards a magnet so my clients can keep it on the fridge. I trimmed one down to size &put it on back of reminder board. Now it's on my fridge where I wanted it. You could also super glue a few strong magnets to the back. Once I added the magnet I really like this feeding reminder.
