Father Magnus is the best book BF
I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and character development. The love story is believable and relatable even. I ship them! This book is very kinky and top tier. If only, we could all have our own Father Magnus to give us private Lessons in Sin! Easily my favorite book I’ve read this year.

Sign me up for a Lifetime of these Lessons please
Holy divinity, I am totally, completely, get no sleep last night obsessed with this book. This is my first full length Pam Godwin novel and I’m officially a convert. If loving this filthy, forbidden, dark (ish) slice of indulgence that is this book is wrong, I don’t want to be right. I’d let Father Magnus Falke make me a sinner and drag me straight to hell alongside him as long as he’s imparting those lessons in sin along the way.Prickly, overbearing, mildly terrifying and exceedingly hot, this man of God with a dark past may have chosen priesthood for all the wrong reasons, but that makes my obsession with him no less unholy. Every unsavory revelation about his personality is coupled with an incredibly endearing one, and that combination makes him irresistible. I’d confess my sins to Daddy…I mean Father Magnus any damn time. And I’m not even Catholic. My biggest pet peeve with age gaps are often heroines and their non-existent backbones or their lack of personality independent of the man they love. But Tinsley is a refreshing change from all that. She might be 18 and a trust fund princess, but she’s also an assertive, intellectually and emotionally intelligent, compassionate force of nature who, while submissive under the right circumstances, knows exactly how to stand up for herself and her people. Wonderfully matured but with just enough peeks into her youth. And she serves some serious sass. I might love her as much as or even more than Magnus to be honest. Her brilliance and wit makes their verbal sparring almost as er0tically charged as their physical connection is. And that is one sexy connection. Not just the s-xual situations, but things I’d have sworn up and down would gross me out until yesterday are so tastefully done I was swooning and melting into a h0rny puddle. That’s a superpower. For a scorchingly hot book, this is also quite the slow burn, fraught with longing and guilt and self-flagellation and some serious demons. In spite of the multiple layers of taboo and the significant power imbalance, I was impressed by how the author turned the tables and gave Tinsley the upper hand almost immediately so you always know she chose her fate. And enjoyed every depraved minute of her discipline, even when it gets very graphic and dark and lines are blurred or straight up crossed. Consent is always attractive, but rarely has it been this sinfully sexy.

A fine line between alpha and predator…
Okay, I had to really think about how I felt about this book because there are two elements to consider: the plot/story and the subject matter. I will say that I liked the writing and the characters. Tinsley and Magnus had slow-burn, anticipatory chemistry. There was good verbal sparring, which is always fun to read when it’s done well. I went into this read understanding the taboo subject matter and I had no problem with that initially. However, the more I read it, the more it bothered me how much of a victim Tinsley was. An 18 y.o., no matter the legal age of consent, is still a teenager barely acquainted with life or experiences. And everyone used this girl for their own purposes, including Magnus. Her mother dictated where she would go to school and Magnus, with his sexual predilections, became her guardian. He was a sexual predator. It’s not loving someone when you literally have complete control over their lives and they’re not your own minor children, when you get to decide what they can and can’t do and then take advantage of that and their vulnerability. The age difference bothered me. Magnus was a middle-aged man and had a complete life before becoming a priest. The age gap between them was larger then Tinsley’s actual age. To write a character who’s that obsessed with a girl that young was a bit creepy. Had Magnus been younger and Tinsley a little older, I may have been a bit more on board with their relationship. Overall, I don’t mind age-gap or taboo relationships but the age gap has to make sense. A 40 y.o. billionaire’s obsession with a girl young enough to be his daughter, other than for a sexual relationship, was a bit hard to swallow. What could they really have in common? I liked the writing so I’ll probably check out this writer’s other works but I’ll be sure to read a few more reviews and details before taking a deeper dive into the next read.

Deliciously taboo
This is a dark, forbidden romance and I ate it all up in nearly one sitting! It’s not quite as dark as I was expecting, after having read “Dark Notes” by this author, but it does have some triggers. I also discovered that a few other books on my tbr by other authors feature Tinsley’s siblings! Apparently there’s a whole world out there I didn’t know about. So I’ll be checking those out immediately.

Sensacional
Amei!

Sinful read🔥🔥
Forgive me, father, for I have read this sinful book! Oh my my, I have never in my life read a slow-burn so sexy and hot. I mean the smut this book covers is next level. While I loved and adored our heroine, our sinful hero aka Father Magnus is second to none. Generally, the herione in the age-gap is naive and impulsive, but Tinsley is anything but immature. She's one of the strongest characters I have met. Being 18-years-old, she's indeed the old soul in the body of a teenager.Coming over to our author, this is my second book by her and I am surely going to devour her other books because she has the power to bewitch every soul with her writing. Moreover, it's very hard to find the level of smut in a slow-burn, especially when the actual steam appears after reading 50% of the book. But damn if this book is not the testament of the slow-burn where I would give 5 hot stars just for the smut.On the top of that, I loved the way this book cover pure love, which was out of bodily lust. I mean, sure, reading a priest and student romance seems like full of dirt and all, but the dirt was personified with their pure feelings!5/5 for sure on both overall and hotness level!

Sinfully flawless!
HOLY HELL! Forgive me Father, for I have Sinned! For the love of all that is mighty, Lord have mercy...ok I'll stop now 😂I cannot even describe to you how amazing this is! It plays with the forbidden in such a dangerous and sensual way. Its beautifully taboo, the tension had me biting my nails and the age gap and teacher/student tropes were executed flawlessly. Everything about this novel is stunning, from the cover to the epilogue! *Chefs Kiss* 🤌🏻Father Magnus Falke is sexier than Sin, (excuse the pun) wrapped up in all black clothing with his blindingly white priest collar. He is dominating, intimidating, intense and cold when we meet him. A man of the cloth who doesn't turn a blind eye towards punishments as a method of conformation.Tinsley is the sassy, colourful and witty 18 year old heiress who has been sent to Father Magnus's Catholic boarding school. No spoilers as to why she's there, because I think this should be on everyone's TBR and you should experience this in all of its glory! But Tinsley is really up there fighting the good fight, she rebels, she pushes Magnus's limits and restraints and man oh man, does she receive her Lesson in Sin 🤤🔥If I could describe their relationship with each other I'd have to say the love between Tinsley and Magnus is unconventional, sinful, but inevitable and in no sense of the word wrong. If ever there was two people made for each other, then its these two. Two halves of our soul that found their way together. Tinsley awakens the darkness in Magnus that he keeps sheathed under the cloth of the priesthood, but what she actually summons something so pure and light, and I couldn't believe the Magnus who even had me shaking with fear in the start, turned out to be the guy I was swooning and pining for! He's going to make you want to storm a church to find a version of him I swear! 😂Honestly, I cannot fault one word of this, I wish I could experience it again for the first time. No words I say can even do it justice.Top read of 2021 without a doubt!

Another favorite of the year! Father Magnus is 🔥
Omg, what did I just read?I finished this in one sitting, this story was so addictive. The push and pull between Magnus and Tinsley has fudging amazing!I was loving Magnus and Tinsley from the get go. Their banter, the back and forth was amazing.I was around 20% in and I already knew this would be a 5 ⭐️. It is not only a 5 ⭐️ but also a favorite of this year.Tinsley just wants to live her life. She wants attention and love because she’s so damn lonely but wants she wants from her life doesn’t fly with her mother. Her mother is truly a cold witch. I didn’t liked her in the others books ( Tinsley brothers) but in this one I liked her even less.Magnus became a Priest because of reasons and I didn’t expect it to be so dark and sad. In a way he was punishing himself for being a priest.I’m not catholic by any means but I would convert for Father Magnus. He was so hawt! The sexy times were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.My time flew by and I want more of them!If you’re looking for a dark, brooding, sexy, hot Priest this one is for you!
