Hoping this will help keep me accountable Easy to use, lightweight Only downside is the food database is really poor, everything im scanning isn't recognised so I'm having to add all the info manually for the first time. Not very good for scanning UK products, to be clear I’ve used them everyday for 6 weeks and not one UK product has scanned and been recognised in the app. I am continually having to input data via the custom section, even when you’ve logged it and named it you can’t search the product again by name you have to scan through all of your personal custom logs to find the product again. I use mainly fresh products but when it comes to making your own bread, cakes, dinners and you use stocks, flour, seeds etc you have to manually input all your macros for each. It’s been good for weighing fruit and vegetables but the meat section is wild, and varying calories for the same product & some don’t list the macros etc. it could be a great scale if you could select county of origin and get the food database for that country. It makes logging food a timely thing when it doesn’t need to be. I’m using the scales as scales and scanning food via Myfitness Pal again. I really wanted these to work as I have the Renpho body scan scales and would have liked everything in one place. The scales weighs accurately & the style and design is sleek and elegant.

I have the composition body scales and thought I should also get the food scalesbthat links to the app. Not all good are listed but you can either add the foods and adjust the portions etc

These look great and work well with the TARE function which allows you to weigh a product in or out of a container

Extremely pleased. This is quite a simple scale at first sight but if you do have a smart phone and use the app the information you can get is brilliant. Just using it as a simple scale I found it to be very accurate. (I have returned 3 other makes that were innacurate) I tested several food packets and the weights were very accurate. My diet is keto based so I like to keep a close eye on nutrients and the app is brilliant for that. It's data base seems pretty extensive but some parts like baroda scanner is for the USA only. This is not a problem as I rarely use tin/packets of processed food. If you cook from scratch I found that basic ingredient details are accurate. Highly recommended.

Do not recommend, the barcode scanner does not recognise a single item and I have tried over 20+ items from my kitchen which are so common. You end up having to search manually and again it’s far too generic and inaccurate so you then just have to put all the nutrition info in yourself. I could have done that without the scales.

I want to use this scale for weighing portions of creatine, protein powder and coffee been dosing but the "1 gram" accuracy isn't very accurate at all. weighing down the same scoop results in a fluctuating measurement often overshooting by 2 grams when adding weight on the scale. Makes this scale frustrating for dosing relatively small doses of powder or beans. Cons: - not accurate to 1 gram - needs app, but the app is finicky - tare doesn't always register - takes 5 seconds to startup Pros: - batteries included, ready to use - can measure water volume - glass plate makes surface easy to clean Deal Breakers: - there are cheaper scales when not using/needing the app
