Great valued wired controller
Iโve been using the PowerA Spectra Infinity Wired Controller for a while now, and overall itโs a solid choiceโespecially if youโre looking for a budget-friendly alternative to the official Xbox controller. One of the standout features is the RGB lighting. The controller has multiple customizable light zones, and you can tweak the colors and brightness to suit your setup, which adds a really nice visual touch without being over the top. It definitely stands out compared to standard controllers. In terms of performance, it does exactly what youโd expect. The buttons feel responsive, the analog sticks are precise, and the dual rumble motors add a good level of immersion while gaming. The addition of programmable back buttons is a big plus too, especially for more competitive games where quick reactions matter. I also really like the practical featuresโthereโs a 3.5mm headset jack, a handy volume dial with mic mute, and a long braided cable that gives you plenty of room to play comfortably. Overall, the PowerA Spectra Infinity is a great value controller. It offers a lot of featuresโespecially for the priceโand performs reliably for everyday gaming. If you donโt mind a wired setup, itโs definitely worth considering.

Superior controller for PC [xbox alike] BUY Wired, don't bother with bluetooth 4.0 or 5.0 on PC
Only had it a weak but I also only had the xbox 1 controller a week before I sent it back, this PowerA Spectra Infinity Enhanced Wired Controller I'll be keeping. It;s a FAR superior experience. And here's why : the official Microsoft XBox 1 controller bought for pc gaming, also required me to buy an additional Bluetooth 5.0 adaptor & rechargeable batteries. A total of ยฃ78!! But it felt well built, pity it didnt work as well. Multiple failed key presses or key presses resulting to infinity presses or stick movement would literally "stick" and continually rotate the characters view or have them walk without anything pressed - you might say "low battery" - I had rechargeables that I swapped the moment the 1st pair were fully charged (luckily I already owned 2 excellent expensive chargers else that would have brought the price up beyond the Elite controllers price) Anyway this is a review about the "PowerA Spectra Infinity Enhanced Wired Controller" (with a warning not to but the microsoft wireless controller - i'm sure they work fine with xboxes? BUT if you need a controller for Elden Ring, buy this!, the 10 foot wire insures no need for extensions, the lighting is actually useful, the additional 2 underside remappable buttons are no gimmick, really useful !! great for remapping the stich/hat presses instead (had the 4 button powerA version had leds I would consider buying that but the leds maych my corsair k95, mousepad, pc, leds strips & scimitar mouse all flashing away like l.sd. with out the 8 hours of come down. powerA make very good controllers. my last cheap powerA I bought 8 years ago for ยฃ10 still works perfectly but it has a smooth plastic shell so longer gaming sessions are uncomfortable with no grippy surfaces, (I only found out it was made by powerA after buying thisd controller... i'll be buying from these guys again) TL;DR BUY THIS instead of official xbox controller for PC Gaming - its far superior. end of.

Decent wired controller however..
After the first few days the d-pad became unresponsive, not too much of an issue in my use case but something to keep in mind! Other than that the lighting effects are nice, build quality feels solid both in terms of the controller itself and the cable, buttons have a nice tactile response also. Software is very barebones and could be better but gets the job done.

Very solid, wired 3rd-party controller for the money. A lot to like.
Recently purchased this controller at the beginning of July so have been using a fair bit. In summary a very good 3rd-party, wired Xbox One, PC or Series S|X controller. Yesterday I also took delivery of the Turtle Beach Recon Controller (separate review left on that product page) which is also another really good controller with some very unique features. This compares well to that controller. My thoughts: + Ergonomics pretty much the same as the Xbox Series controller. + Tension on the analog sticks is nearly perfect and the same as the aforementioned Turtle Beach Recon Controller. Again very small deadzone. + Kontrol Freeks fit perfectly fine with no wiggle or turning (took them off to put on the Recon for that photo). + Front of the controller has a soft rubberised coating which is pleasant to hold. Some texturing on the back of the controller although quite smooth to hold. + D-pad is very good, as are triggers and shoulder buttons. No impulse trigger rumble motors for the games that use them, i.e. Forza Motorsport. But I don't think that's going to be an issue with FPS and 3rd person shooters. + Micro USB cable port is locked in very securely on the controller, and the break-away cable is a nice touch (like the OG Xbox). + RGB lighting is quite fun although thankfully it can be turned off. Zone lighting isn't quite uniform though. + Very easy to program the two back buttons on the fly, although no stored profiles like the Turtle Beach Recon Controller though. The Trigger stops work...for some games but with varying results. In Halo MCC you can set the trigger stops to the smaller travel with no impact. But in other games the buttons don't work or limit the acceleration on vehicles, i.e. Destiny 2. So it's hit and miss as to whether they work with the game you want to play. Without software, like the official MS Elite or the Razer Wolverine controllers, trigger stops are limited in usefulness. Not many negatives although I think weight of the controller is one. It feels slightly heavier than an official Microsoft controller with battery pack (286g vs 271g). PowerA have used metal weights in their more expensive Fusion Pro controller and this feels similar, although without taking it apart I can't be sure. But personally I prefer lighter controllers. Also the 3.5mm audio jack worked fine for me, although I didn't have a chance to test the microphone which can be very low quality output on 3rd-party controllers. So in terms of the features versus the price of this controller, it's an easy recommend, particularly at this price point. I do prefer the included audio pre-amp/EQ etc. on the Turtle Beach Recon Controller but the Spectra Infinity is cheaper and if you use a wireless headset might not need those features anyway. A good controller, and I hope has some durability etc. as I continue to use it.

I purchased the black version and I've been using this for a while and I absolutely love it. I needed a controller for my PC and I did not want to pay Xbox's prices plus I wanted LED light for my Controller. Enter the PowerA Spectra Infinity. Its got a great feel to it, the LED lights are bright and plentiful. I am happy the lights aren't just around the edges but around every button, joystick and dpad. Very impressed. The switches on the back for your trigger buttons are easy to change on the fly. There are 3 settings for the switches : Off - half and full compression. Its nice to not have to pull the trigger down all the way to fire in games. There are 2 little buttons on both sides where your middle finger would sit that you can bind to anything. I have mine for reloading and grenade tossing. Awesome feature. Super Long Wired cord is a godsend. SO happy its very long. I can lounge back in my chair and play comfortably. Was not able to do that with my xbox controller.

This is a really great controller, there are also some YouTube videos which review it (I watched these prior to purchasing). It's comfortable to hold, easy to grip, the buttons/sticks all feel well-made, there are easily enough buttons for me, the trigger locks are also a nice feature too. I personally prefer to have the LED lights off most of the time, and there is an easy way to do this (as well as changing the colour of lights too if you like that). The only potential downside for some people may be the fact that it has a cable, but for me this was what I wanted, I prefer to have a cabled controller (more stable connection, you don't have to worry about charging it either). I also got this controller on sale which was great too. Overall this is an excellent controller, when I bought it I believe it was one of the best-reviewed cabled controllers available, and I suspect it is still one of the best ones (if not still the best). If I need to buy another controller in the future, I will definitely be trying to get this one again first before considering other controllers.

One of the best controllers for the price. Did a lot of research before buying this controller....Using this controller for last 5 months. Works perfectly with windows 11 (Games tested on windows 11 - Fifa 22, Gta 5, Forza horizon 5, Assassin's creed Oddessey,Origins,Valhalla). Also works with Xbox (Tested on xbox one S, should also work perfectly with Xbox series x and s) Not just the best Xbox series controller alternative but even better than Series controller itself (considering the price and other advanced features). This controller is plug and play (both on Xbox and PC). If you have any problem using it with Windows, please update drivers from PowerA site. Pros- 1. Solid build quality. Gives Extraordinay feel in hand. 2. All buttons are great to press and very responsive. 3. Triggers are superb. Also have 3way trigger locks. 4. 2 programmable buttons at the back (very clicky and easy to use). You can easily program both of these at any time to any of the other controls. 5. Leds are very nice to look at. U can also turn them off. All the leds are controlled using buttons provided on the controller without using any software. 6. Cable provided in the box is high quality braided and is sufficiently long (3meter). Provided cable plugs in the controller with snap-lock mechanism (you dont have to worry about it unplugging while playing games). 7. Latency while playing games is very low. 8. Headset dial can be used to control volume of the headphones and also mute the microphone. 9. As this controller is Xbox certified you dont have to worry about it being incompatible with xbox and Pc. I am using this on PC without bothering about drivers. Xbox button can be used to access Xbox game bar on PC. All the buttons can be tested on windows in Xbox accesories app. It also has a screenshot button. Cons 1. Uses Micro USB. They should have given Type C. Overall great experience. Highly recommended. UPDATE ๐คฉ(after 15 months of use) 1. No problem with the controller. Every button, trigger and stick is working perfectly fine. 2. Condition of the braided wire is excellent even after 1.5years of use. They did provide a really tough cable. I bought this controller for 4400. Now i see it is even available at 3000 sometimes. For this price it is a really solid choice. Considering xbox controller sells for around 5k, powera has every feature and even more at much less price.
