Out of all the portable screen options on Amazon, this one appeared to have the most attractive form and features, 1080p and 60hz refresh at a sub $130 price. Packaging was great with a full set of instructions and folding stand/case already attached. Three cables of a smaller but reasonable length are included, and both the HDMI and the USB-C video connections (into both USB-C ports) were immediately detected. Ports are nice and tight, bezels reasonably sized, and buttons comfortable and responsive. On Screen Display is clear and understandable and easy to use. The ace for this display was the inclusion of FreeSync and I can confirm that this feature works fine. However I had a moment of panic when initially the display, while on and functioning, was not detected as FreeSync/G-Sync compatible. The solution was in the user manual; operate the menu button on the left side of the device to go down to Other Settings and turn FreeSync on. Simply put, I was thrilled that the screen was this nice and met or exceeded all my needs. Is it the brightest screen? No. Are the speakers the loudest? No. Should a person do color-accurate editing on this? Probably not. But this is far nicer than what I felt was reasonable to expect and I’m very satisfied with the purchase.

Like most who travel for work, not having a second monitor to use can be cumbersome when using a laptop. I searched Amazon for an easy-to-carry, plug-and-play monitor that easily connects to my work laptop. Considering my company has stringent requirements on tech that can be used, I vetted this through my IT department and got it approved. Upon receiving the monitor and opening the box, the protective cover is one of the first excellent features or pieces. Although the initial setup could have been clearer, after scanning the QR code and watching the walk-through video, it was easy to understand that I was setting it up incorrectly. Once I got past that snafu, I connected it to my work laptop. Truly plug and play, and no IT error codes or warnings, which is always a PLUS! The monitor is easy to use and light enough to carry in your business bag and performance. It even looks better than the monitor on my work laptop; it has very crisp and colorful colors. The screen provides ample real estate space for Excel spreadsheets and other work applications. I also found that the monitor only drains a little power if not plugged in. I am satisfied, so I bought another one for my spouse.

Picked this up on Prime Days just to see how it would work for me as an extra monitor with my various PCs/devices and have to say I'm very impressed. For under $85 you get a 15.6" 1080p monitor that can be run off the correct USB-C port; which means if you have a mini PC, you can use a single cable to power your monitor. This monitor also has VESA mounting holes on the back, so you could use this to mount a MiniPC to the back of it. The included case is really nice, and attaches magnetically, with a trifold design that doubles as a stand. The one drawback is that the ports for the monitor are on the opposite side to the control button and headphone jack, so making the monitor in portrait mode without a VESA stand or some other kind of prop is difficult. Right angle adapters or USB C cables would help, but it doesn't eliminate the issue. As far as the screen goes, it seems to be very good - no real ghosting of images - and seems to be plenty bright for most applications. I've tried gaming on it using a Series X Xbox, my PC and a Series S Xbox. All decent and no major worries. You're not using it for competitive gaming, this is for casual fun. Watching videos, using it for work - it all works well - again, if the USB-C port you're using can provide power and video. Otherwise, you have to use 2 cables and it's still a bit of a cable jumble - but nothing outside of what you'd expect with other monitors. Great value.

I work remotely and normally have a triple screen setup at home (laptop + 2 monitors). I am taking a trip next month and needed to be able to still work at the same capacity while I’m away from home. So I decided to buy 2 of monitors to use as extended monitors for my Lenovo Thinkpad. I usually hate working on different sized screens but these are the same exact size as my laptop so they’re perfect. My laptop only has 1 hdmi port & charges via a thunderbolt port so I just had to buy one of those dongles to change the thunderbolt port to an hdmi port & usb-c PD port. That way my laptop can charge and I can run both of these external monitors at the same time. As for the powering of the monitors themselves, I just use the provided usb-c to usb cables to hook them all into my laptop. That way I just need to pack my laptop, 2 portable monitors, 4 cables & 1 dongle for a complete office set up anywhere I go. The monitors themselves give off better picture than my actual laptop and I have no issues pulling windows back on forth. It feels just like I’m working on my full size home monitors except with smaller screens. My only complaint about these are that 1) I wish the ports were in the back or on top of the screen instead of the side. I hate seeing all the protruding cables while I’m working but that seems to be the same for all portable monitors unless you’re willing to spend $300+ for each one, which I’m not. 2) The magnetic covers that double as a stand, aren’t very stable. I like my screens to be at the same angle as my laptop, but they keep sliding back to a more tilted angle. However the User Manual says you can request free foldable monitor stands so I have requested those to hopefully solve this issue. Overall these monitors were a great deal and so far, so good. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing an office setup on the go!

I bought this monitor (pictured on top) to have a second little display for my desktop that could also be taken traveling and used with my Surface Pro 8. I used a third-party vesa-mounting tablet clamp to hold this monitor, I did not use any built-in vesa mounting hardware or connections, but it works well with my clamp. The monitor itself does its job well, especially at this price point. The brightness is reasonable; you couldn't use it in direct sunlight but that's typical and understandable. It works fine indoors. Colors aren't notably great or bad, seem true enough for my purposes. I have not seen any issue with dead pixels, dim sections of the display, etc. The only reasons I docked stars were due to the "other" items that came with it: The case/cover that can also serve as a kickstand does not actually cover the entirety of the back of the monitor, leaving half of the back of the monitor open to scuffs and scratches. It covers the most important parts of it, so it's fine for my uses, but it is a small gripe. Additionally, it came with the necessary cables to use the device, but the cables are pretty bad quality. They are stiff, relatively short, and not braided or in any way durable-seeming. Luckily it's simple enough to buy third-party cables (be sure you buy the right sort of USB-C if you're going to be using it to transmit the display!) so this doesn't truly hurt the main product, but it is something that I feel they could have done better with.

I wanted to wait before providing a review of the monitor. The quality & build of many of the electronic devices online are suspect, especially the ones without brand recognition. Giving it time in a real world application long after the return date, provides a more complete picture of the product, in my opinion, than a review of the product from someone who is going through the honeymoon phase of a new gadget. Working Scenario: The monitor has been my 2nd travel monitor for work and for pleasure. It has been in my bag, "tossed" in the car, gone through airport security, and shows some wear & tear around the edges (picture). So far, it has held up and I am impressed. I don't game, so won't be able to comment on its performance with respects to gaming. However, for simple graphic editing, reading, spreadsheet work, watching videos etc., it has been great. Pro: * 2nd monitor increases productivity. * Has held up from near daily use without issues. * Has built in speakers (my laptop speakers are weak). * One cable for video & power (USB-C) quick note, not all USB-C cables pass both AV and power. Most of the cheap ones you find online are data and/or power only. * Comes with needed cables. * Has screen protector that acts as a stand. * Has 2 holes that can be used for mounting Con: * Screen protector stand only allows landscape mode * Although you can orient the screen in portrait mode, the buttons on one side and the ports on the other side get in the way. Portrait mode is only really feasible with a stand or on a mount. The screen does add weight to your travel bag but for me that's not a pro or a con, just the price to be paid for an increase in productivity. I've been happy with it. Lastly, I reached out the the seller about a question I had and they were prompt in response, and even followed up months afterwards to see if I had any other questions. Great customer service.

I'm very satisfied with this portable monitor. It arrived well packaged with all the accessories possibly needed; usb-c to usb-c cable, mini-hdmi to hdmi, power adapter (usb-a to usb-c). I could not tell that this monitor is a refurbished model. I t looks brand new a fully functioning. Only the screen protector is missing. I could use it instantly by connecting only the usb-c cable to Macbook pro, Windows laptop, Surface pro. Used it with a desktop mini pc by connecting the power adapter and hdmi cable. For the Samsung S24 (Dex) I also connect it with power adapter and usb-c. ,Also checked out the OSD menu; plenty of settings there and also HDR is possible. Did not need the change anything in my case. The cover works also as a stand. With the stand the monitor is stable; the cover stand supports the monitor perfectly. If you want to use the monitor on eye level using it with a monitor stand is necessary. Very light and indeed fully portable; just need the monitor and a cable to connect. With 2 year warranty and a free accessorie post purchase an excellent choice. I recommend this product to anyone needing a good quality portable monitor.

15.6 inch refurbished monitor. Bought this to use with my laptop as a second screen. Overall excellent value for money and good build quality. The monitor. Very nice build quality, does not bend much. Good bright screen for indoor use (have not tried it outdoors). The viewing angles are very good. Resolution as mentioned good enough colours for my use. Has HDR but I didn't like it so turned it off. Thin bezels on top and sides, bottom bezel is thick but not noticed much when using. Ports Right - 1 mini HDMI, 2 thunderbolt usb c ports. Left - 1 headphone jack, power button and multi switch for volume and settings. The cables. Working well. The cover. Works well enough for my use. Hard, protective stand. I agree with some of the other reviews that sometimes the stand doesn't stay in the standing position and will fall easily. I use it on a desk and had this issue the first day but it's been fine since then. Costumer support. Excellent. Had to contact as the usb c-c connection wasn't working. The agent sorted this in a few minutes.
