Thank you for your question! No, our tallow balm doesn't leavy an oily film on the skin, and so it doesn't transfer from the skin. It is readily absorbed by the skin. Therefore, applying the Tallow Balm does not result in a greasy look or feel. It is taken up by the skin as nourishment and softens the skin quickly. If your skin doesn't absorb what you apply, then you are applying too much. Remember that a little goes a long way.

Can I use this on my dog's tongue? She had her teeth removed and her tongue hangs out all the time and gets dry.
