This is exactly the same as a a beach chair that's 3 in off the ground that you use to sit by the edge of the water. I'm 5' 7" and I can sit in it and rest my head against the back. Extremely comfortable. BUT, this is for your patio or deck. It's a little heavy for taking down to the beach. It's beautiful, I love it and I bought a used one that some kind soul put together and returned lol! So it was in a damaged box but perfect when I opened it. Highly recommend this for a small backyard in a city or a patio in a high-rise apartment. It will look fantastic and people will be really impressed and they fold so you can hide them if you need to. Mine's gotten rained on almost everyday because it's spring and it looks beautiful. But, if you can't get up from sitting on the floor, like, if you have a bad knee or something this is not for you. This is literally 3" off the ground.

Awesome chairs. Beautiful. Fold smooth but tight. Feels solid. Comfy for myself and husband. I am short and he is very tall. I could imagine a larger or older person might struggle to get up and down with these but we are neither yet so we find them surprisingly comfy and cool af. Have had them several weeks. These do need to be cared for properly. They are solid wood! Some folks have left bad reviews about weather ruining their finish.... but let's face it they bought wooden deck chairs and then didn't take care of the wood! Finish is rich and after several weeks on my deck they still look brand new. I wipe them down or bring them in when it rains.

I purchased this for under $100 and I had points and a gift card balance, so the final price made this a good choice. I have used it for a while and a pleased with the build, with the only downside is that there is really no good protection for the ends of the legs. I wrapped mine in cardboard and Gorilla Tape, but that is hardly a permanent solution. With that caveat, I would recommend this chair.

For our home the chair was perfect. It sits on a small lanai. My wife is barely 5 feet. It is perfect for her. The chair is really small. If you are an average sized male, sitting in the chair will put your butt about 11 inches from the floor, where a normal folding chair is about18 inches. Tall people can lick their knees with their tongue. In the photos people have their legs spread out making it somewhat deceptive. I would not buy this for living room furniture unless you are inviting the Munchkin family over for a glass of wine. But if you need a chair for a small space, like we did, it is good looking, folds easily, and is perfect.

I bought a set of these for my husband and me And they are extremely comfortable. I’m 5 foot two and he’s 5 foot 10 and we both thoroughly enjoy the comfort and size of these chairs. The look of them is beautiful and they fold up nicely.

These chairs are fantastic! They are well built and look so cool- a great fit for our mcm home. They are super comfortable and don’t take up much space at all. I would definitely buy these again- although these are so solidly constructed I doubt i will ever need to

We've purchased a bunch of these chairs. They look great and are comfortable. Best of all, they fold up so we can store them in the garage when not in use, which we are hoping will allows these to last longer than most outdoor furniture. We've thrown in the car to take with us to large picnics. EVERYONE who sits in them says they love these chairs.

Durable and sturdy. Very nice addition to my patio. I get a lot of compliments on these chairs and would recommend them. However, they are a bit heavy and low to the ground, so probably not the best for everyone!

Initially bought a “very good condition” chair that ultimately was broken. It was very comfortable and looked exactly as pictured, but I had to return it. Thinking I could just buy the same thing but new, I splurged on a replacement. Turns out this is a new design, that is pretty much unusable to me: - Significantly lower front of seat. I am very small and this is too low for me. Previous one was fine because of the angle and the slightly higher seat edge. - Significantly shorter seat (it was already very short) - Uncomfortable inward rounded seat end (see photo). - Seat to backrest transition is now forcing a slouched position. Is otherwise painful. - Less reclined. I’ll say the finish quality is good and the wood treatment is equally applied and high quality. The rounded edges are a nice touch and the diagonal leg cuts make the chair more stable. But in the end, this is not the chair displayed in the images and it is not comfortable. DO NOT BUY.
