Kingston Brass Gourmetier KS3191AL Restoration Single Handle Water Filtration Faucet, Polished Chrome, 10.81 x 4.63 x 1.75

Great appearance matches our new faucets instead of the generic modernistic faucet which came with our new APEC R/O system. Works great and works with our R/O system. No gurgling at night near the bedroom though there is no water back-up protection (needed in kitchen sink disposal systems). Faucet upgrade is very l reasonably priced compared to similar-appearing models with back-up protection valve (which we do not need in this installation). We love our APEC R/O system and also have one at the other end of the house in the kitchen. You can’t beat the price, quality and ease of installation!

Base is MUCH SMALLER than expected. Had to use a rather large fender washer under the sink to ensure it would hold correctly. You only need around a 1"OD hole in the sink. Definitely not the standard 1.5" hole.

These are quite well made. Excellent finish and rigidity. Solid brass w heavy chrome on this one. A bit of a perplexing design of the seal at the countertop though. A flange with a o-ring on it comes with the faucet. The flange with an o-ring is SUPPOSED to seal at the counter surface, but the flange does not seal to the faucet; metal to metal. Another, smaller, o-ring is recessed in the faucet and the flange is too big to engage it. in effect, the faucet has to be mounted WITHOUT the included flange to make a water tight seal at the countertop, so the o-ring on the faucet will seals to the countertop. Other option is to just fill the hole under the faucet with goo; plumbers putty, but that defeats the elegant use of the o-ring! A bit more thought needed on that by mfgr! In short, discard the dress-up flange and mount without it, or smear on a wad of plumber's putty between the faucet and countertop.

This special faucet for my filtered water has outstanding quality. It was easy to install, it runs nicely, and its quality design will very likely last for many years without any problems.

I got this to replace the lever water filter I had on the sink. I hated that thing. This separates the cold water so I just have to turn it on and behold, filtered water. It looks really nice. Seems sturdy as well. Long enough spout so your glass or water bottle fits really well under it. I am happy with it. Hopefully will keep working great.

The construction is solidly built and very heavy, compared to the one that I replace. The lever action is butter smooth . Highly recommend it.

It took me 6 months to get around to the water filter on my to-do list. After checking as some of the big-box retailers, I decided to order the faucet on-line. This model looked like a good match to the current set. Only has 1 line in for an in-line filter (not for osmosis filters...) Product arrived in reasonable timeframe, but when I went to install it the epoxy at the base where the threaded pipe goes into the bottom was cracked and it leaked. (always leak check before you close the cupboard doors.) Rather than send it back, I pulled out the trusty JB water weld and a file and repaired it myself. Now working great - no leaks, no regrets (but I probably voided the warranty.)

Smooth operation and looks very nice with my faucet set.
