Extremely Sharp, Smooth Cutting, and Excellent for Grooming Long-Haired Dogs I originally purchased these for grooming and trimming my long-haired Dachshund at home, and they have worked surprisingly well. The scissors feel sharp immediately out of the package, cut very smoothly without tugging the coat excessively, and allow for much cleaner trimming around feathering, paws, ears, and sanitary areas than standard household scissors. The stainless steel feels substantial without being overly heavy, and the grip is comfortable enough to use for longer grooming sessions without hand fatigue. The tension also feels balanced and controlled rather than loose or uneven. The scissors arrived well packaged, protected properly during shipping, and looked exactly as pictured. Bought these to cut my toddlers hair and mine also and they just work so good! They are so sharp and I’ve been using them for a bit now and they haven’t gotten dull! Love them a lot definitely would buy again and recommend

🎵 they cut through all hair with the greatest of ease...🎶 with your high standards these things will appease! 🎵 These scissors are budget priced, but not cheaply made! Several years ago my wife went to beauty school, and we paid a LOT! For her basic barber kit like just the hand tools nothing powered. I looked up her scissors and they were between $100, and $150 I can't remember exactly. Well she is a o.t.r trucker, and I am sadly disabled due to a major spinal injury. Anyway we have 4 Persian cat babies and she would prune them with her scissors I would brush mine out for hours a day, and after my injury I couldn't do it. When my wife came home she used her scissors to get the mats I couldn't get with my fingers. ( I had to tighten up the screw up in hers for the fine fur) So I offered these from reviews, and I was/am AMAZED at how they perform! They slice through thick Matted cat fur like butter! If you ever clipped a matt you know it with get between the flats of the blades and squish it. NOT THESE SISSORS! you know a matt will have some small amount of dirt or dust in it and it will dull clippers and scissors. Again not these! You know scissors get loose and are a pain to tighten. Yeah again not these! The screw on these is actually attached to one side and on the other is a spring plate with a locking thumb not so to tighten them you use your finger, and you feel the clicks as you turn it so you know it won't loosen back up on you unless you physically do it! Why cany the people that make all scissors do this? My only wish is that they made the finger holes slightly bigger, but it's really not that big of a deal. My pair straight out of the box were so sharp they would slice paper with one blade only! Wish I could rate them 10 stars!

I'm not in love with these scissors, I would have wanted something longer and pointier, perhaps. I presently have another pair with black handles which are longer and pointier, ("Office Pro" is etched onto the side of the blade), and they work pretty good for my long hair, which I'm cutting myself by parting my hair as for pigtails, then bringing it all to the front and cutting across. This method is incredibly fast and easy and it doesn't give a clean line in the back once finished, and it doesn't give layers, but it's darned good for getting the right length with a decent V profile in back. So, for this method of cutting, straight across a large section of hair .... these scissors are a little small. I haven't tried them for this technique that I use, yet, because I just cut my hair recently, but I just know that these are on the small side for this technique. I see them more for adding layers and stuff like that. I really wanted to test them out, so I decided to cut little wispy sections at my ears and the middle of my forehead, and wow, these were fun to use for that because they're so darned sharp! I'm still keeping these because the quality is great and with great quality comes more potential, and so with use, I may switch to these as my main haircutting scissors or come up with new ways to use them, and then just use the pointy black ones for crafts. So that's my little haircutting story, and I really like these scissors, but wish they were offered in a larger size. I recommend them, though, because you can't go wrong with good quality. Also, if anyone's interested, they can be held up with a magnet. I have an array of cuticle scissors, toenail scissors, a nail file, etc., held up by magnets on the inside of my medicine cabinet and I just added these to the collection. They don't really hold strongly with the magnets I have, but they do hold. I know a lot of people say that stainless steel is not magnetic .... but I don't think that's true, at least in every case. My cuticle scissors (actually, curved embroidery scissors) are shiny and certainly stainless, and they hold the magnet very well. So anyway, my point is that you shouldn't let their moderate magneticness deter you from buying these, and you should consider their magnetic abilities to be a bonus. You could even store these in a drawer with a magnet attached to them, and add snap hair clips or duck billed metal hair clips to the magnet to use when cutting hair, and so all of your supplies would be held together in one bundle by the magnet. I do that with my snap clips and bobby pins, to keep them magically accessible and separated from the elastics and scrunchies.

I tried to use it for the first time but it’s completely useless. I tried to tighten it, more and more, but its so unsharp that it can’t cut hair or anything else either. I have never experienced such a bad scissor ever! Not even the cheapest scissors are this bad! I tried to sharpen it as well, but it didn’t help.

For the price, these are really good scissors, nice and sharp!
