No lean in the block. Straight fat. Makes a great snack. Also works as a leather conditioner if you render some. Won't be able to stop the dogs from sucking on your boots if you do. Honestly, why waste it on boots?

Took a few tries to figure out it doesn’t work like bacon or ham, but will render amazing good taste with just a slice. Low heat, let all that gorgeous paprika seasoned fat bleed out, then toss whatever omelette ingredients you want, spoon them out and proceed with a normal omelette… gets a little too rich so have some fruit or OJ nearby

Arrived June 25, 2024, opened the box and there was one little hot melted cold bag and the Salo was hot from not being properly package. I emailed the seller and received no response. I am sure it is ruined and would be dangerous to eat. I will not anything from Teamore again.
