The material is very stretchy, which in my opinion is a MUST for a maternity swimsuit. There is plenty of room in the belly area without it being saggy. I got my usual pre-maternity size and it's the perfect fit. I am 28 weeks and it fits great and I think has enough stretch to grow with me til the end. The little ruffle is flattering without being too froo-froo (I'm not a ruffles gal) and I like that it is still a little sexy and not matronly, shows off a little cleavage and isn't super low cut on the legs and butt. The straps don't feel like they will be super durable for a long period of time but since I won't be pregnant for very long I'm not overly concerned with it.
