Parfaite Confortable et toute jolie au pied

I would never have thought I would give a 5-star review to a pair of dress shoes. I wear dress shoes only when I must, and usually band-aids on the heels as a preventative measure against blistering are mandatory, or I end up with a heel rubbed raw even after wearing dress shoes for a few steps. The comfortable high back of this shoe seems to prevent that entirely! I wore these shoes for my sister's wedding, as her maid of honor, and really loved everything about them, especially how comfortable they are. I took a chance, and didn't wear any band-aids to prevent blistering on my heels. I stayed comfortable, despite lots of standing and walking (and even some jumping and running). My only minor complaint is that the shoe seems particularly wide, and my feet are narrow. I might have gone down a size, except that my toes were nearly at the tip of the shoes. At first, when I walked in them, I was nervous that the heel might slip out a little, because my heel pulled up off the shoe some when I walked, but I got used to this quickly, and didn't have a single misstep. I haven't tried dancing in these shoes yet, but I'd like to. I'm glad I got them in black: it seems like they will go well with any one of my dresses. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm looking forward to wearing these shoes again!
