**Q: Does the Velcro at the heal completely open up asking so I know if a foot splint can fit in it?**
A: Yeah the back opens completely. 

Its not a very durable shoe though. My pair lasted less than a year before coming apart

A: There are ridges but no holes.The soles are very hard wearing and have excellent grip.

**Q: My feet are uk size 5.5 and they are wide. should i order a size 5 or size 6?**
A: Hi, I'm a size 6 and I'm pretty sure that's what I would have ordered, and they fit great. I usually take a wide fitting too. If you decide on a 6 and it is slightly large, then I think the elastic lace will hold the sandal securely on your foot.

**Q: Will these be any good for hiking in scottish highlands please?**
A: Probably would be ok to walk in Scottish highlands - but they were too wide for my wife’s feet and we sent them back.
