Cream of Buckwheat Gluten Free Hot Cereal, 13-Ounce (Pack of 3)

Yummy, easy to prepare

It's fairly easy to make on a stove top, and probably easier in a microwave. It has a nice, pleasant creamy texture. This cream of buckwheat does not have the distinct flavor that comes with toasted buckwheat. The flavor is more like cream of wheat, but probably has an even smoother texture. I have mixed it with oats and almond milk and microwaved this mix. It gives the oats a creamy aspect.

I like buckwheat hot cereal. Buckwheat is more healthy than some other options.

I love this stuff, I mix 3 tablespoons of this with 2 tablespoons steel cut oats and it's the perfect porridge to start my day. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the price is ridiculous, the amount you get is so little too.

Like this a lot. I get so tired of the same old breakfast stuff and gave this a try. It's a very good kind of different from oatmeal or cream of rice. Nice nutty flavor that's nutritious and filling.

If you're on a grain-free gluten-free diet and you haven't looked into Buckwheat, you should. Taste is very good -- You can treat it just like cream of wheat or grits. Top it with butter, maple syrup, green chili, fruit, anything you like. If you miss cream of wheat, you'll love this healthy doppelganger substitute. We are paleo and our systems love buckwheat.

As with others, there is some leakage of product (about a tablespoon total). Truly no big deal! When you buy these in stores, the product is just in a carboard box. So there is some gap in the bottom of the boxes even at the stores. This was a 3-pack, shipped inside a SEALED plastic bag. So if some product leaks that should be understood and it was totally acceptable to me. Great cereal, that I have been eating for years (and I am gluten--intolerant and CAN eat this stuff!). GREAT bargain for the money!
