I was able to Pressure Cook liquid culture solution no problem, caps installed, filters installed, lids tight.. I lift the lid as I tighten and make sure to wet the gasket with water before I install, I did not leave the lid loose or use any aluminum foil on the top prior to pressure cooking and it worked fine and lids stayed tight. The trick I think is lifting the lid upwards as you tighten it on wide mouth ball brand jars. I like that the PTFE filter has enough flow where I can PC them and not need to tighten or mess with lids in front of a flow hood. I'll test them with grains next and see how it goes, but I'm expecting no issues. I do plan to replace one of the injection ports with a filter patch for grains though because I use half gallon grain jars, if I was running quart jars I wouldn't have any concerns using the included filter. Suggestion for seller: Instead of having 2 injection ports, it would be better to have 2 PTFE filters for better gas exchange.

Nicer material than the cheap white ones at the store. They really shouldn't need gaskets and they make them more difficult to work with, but they did fine in the PC and my grain and LC jars did well with these. The syringe filter isn't enough air exchange for grain spawn, though. Since I was already using them, I pulled out one of the injection ports and covered the hole with a 0.2 filter sticker and it was good after.
