As someone who is on the shorter side, I don't have long, thin legs. Finding a pair of leggings that hold my legs from giggling every step, aren't too tight on my muffin top/stomach area, and are comfortable (also not expensive) has been a struggle. I chose these ones over the other best seller ones on Amazon thinking if I didn't like these ones, I could send them back and purchase the other ones. BUT WOW! I wish I was being paid to promote these leggings! I am a 12-14 and sometimes 16 in pants and the XL fit me perfectly. They are stretchy, but not loose at all. They hold everything in that I don't want moving. They make my legs look thin as they hold in my thighs and no see through in the butt area. They also hold my stomach area in amazingly and aren't too tight. I also love the pockets on the sides of the legs and the secret one on the lower back. These pants got me through Christmas dinner and bending down to play with little cousins with no tightness when your stomach is full of too much food. (also, there is no weird extra space in the crotch area that can cause thigh rubbing.) * I also have washed them numerous times now and have no problems, no torn areas or anything falling apart.* If you are looking for leggings and have failed many times before at finding the right pair, TRY THESE. I was insanely skeptical about this purchase because I'm definitely very plus sized and carry allot of that weight in my legs. I have very large calves and thighs. I usually can squeeze into a 2 or 3 xl sizes. My recommended sizing was 3x. So that's what I ordered. Shipping was super fast. And they feel well made and fit well. So 4 stars!

I have come back to purchase these tights several times now in the past 5 years because they fit so well. The previous material in the earlier years was a little thinner or has worn down due to normal wash and wear but I still loved the pockets and the high waisted fit and durable material. The material in the recent purchases is a lot more thicker and better quality and the fit is still the best. Will keep buying these leggings because the fit, value and quality is perfect. Sizing: When I first bought these I went by the guide and bought and XL but it was too loose. I recommend buying your regular size. I’m 5 ft 5 in and about 205 lb and the L fits me best.
