I've tried a few phone holders for my car but mostly I've been disappointed with the results. The first product I owned was a holder that supports the phone at the base and clamps to the sides, but it used a suction cup to adhere to the car dash or window. After a few uses, the suction cup started to fail regularly. In the end, I stopped using that model because I was afraid my phone would get damaged. Then I switched to a magnet type that screwed into the horizontal air vent. The magnet gets stuck to the back of the phone (inside the case) and then the phone sticks to the magnet attached to the vent. This was hmmm okay but if I went over any big bumps or took a hard turn, the phone would sometimes fall off. Also, as the unit could only be installed on the vent to the left of my steering wheel (by the window), I would sometimes bump my phone exiting and entering the car, again causing it to fall off. With this unit, I get all the features of the other two that worked very well: the holder that the phone sits sturdily in and the mechanism that attaches to the air vent. I gave it a trial run last and and it performed beautifully! My phone stayed put and was easy to set in and take out. No bumps in the road and no bumps from my arm or knee dislodged it in any way. For me, this unit is absolutely perfect! I highly recommend it.

I love this phone holder. It is absolutely perfect for your car, especially if you are traveling a very far distance and you need your GPS for directions. I stead of looking down at the phone I just looked directly on the corner.

I love this holder!! This is the first cellphone holder that actually holds the phone, and has never dropped it. It works perfectly for my Dodge 3500 Ram pickup truck. Unfortunately the vent louvers in my Sebring convertible, are not thick enough to support the holder, while the phone is attached. It actually bends the louver until it pulls it out. So now this wonderful cellphone holder resides in my Dodge truck, because it can take it 😊
