I installed the tank onto a Rhino Rack Pioneer Rack with Maximus setup next to a iKamper Mini 2.0 RTT. (2018 JL Rubicon 4 door). Unfortunately, I couldn't find a bracket to use so I made my own. I used 14" Mending Straps, from desertcart. For stability I used a total of 8 straps, custom bent by hand. The straps are held in place using bolts inside the accessory railing on the RR. For added safety, I placed two black 1/2 nylon tie downs (They blend in) around the tank and attached to the RR. I've used the tank a couple of times and was pleased with how well it kept the water warm. Give it a try! The tank is also mountable in other locations, see the website. I remove mine and use it when I need to! I don’t recommend you Leave it out! **Q: Can this unit be mounted upside down? As in, to the underside of an over-bed truck rack? I assume the water is fed by gravity via the valve so... no?** A: No you can’t mount it upside down! The water filler if filled by hand needs to be on top. **Q: How hot does the water get?** A: Don't listen to the "hot as outside" comment. This thing can get way hotter than just the outside temp. Enough to put you in the hospital if not used carefully. Depends on the ambient temperature and sun exposure combination. Ex: in the summer in the sun you could probably burn the skin right off of you, in the winter in the sun you would probably get it up to a mild warmth.
