Excellent saw
This is an excellent, powerful saw, it comes with three blades and a laser light. The saw is easy to use and gives an excellent clean one handed cut, for the price I personally cannot fault it 👍 It’s just a shame the delivery was via the post office which meant instead of a two day delivery it became five days 🤷

Excellent for what I wanted
Wanted for cutting scaffolding planks to re-floor a cafe basement and this version gave me the depth I needed.Only minor grumbles are re the laser light. It's really useful but it works on batteries (supplied) BUT it's so easy to leave the light switched on and then the batteries have drained when you next want to use it. Why can't the laser light run off the mains, the same as the saw?? It's not that bright so if you're using in bright conditions (outdoors) it's difficult to see the line. But I'm happy I bought it espacially at this price and would do so again.

WORX WX437 XL 800W cuts through wood quickly.
I brought this to cut lots of cut 10 - 12cm by 18 - 20mm pine wood to put behind desks where they'd be supported with brackets but doesn't have to be accurate.I anticipate with a tool like this that the cuts are not going to be accurate and at my skillset of not using it much but it did exactly what I wanted it to do and I did manage to make some cuts straight without the bracket thing that comes with it that I found more of a burden.I do feel a bit or resistance which influences my cutting of the wood where I'd end up getting the cut out of level significantly and this is the protective cover over the blade which the springs on there seems a bit tough. I don't think it would affect cutting large pieces when the cover is fully open.I found that using the other hand to hold back the knob on the blade cover to fully open it before cutting solves that issue. It seems safe as one hand is holding the tool and the other hand is holding the knob back to keep the blade cover open where I can see where my hands are and that should prevent me accidentally putting my fingers near the blade during cutting. There seems to be something lacking in the Amazon feedback system. When there are multiple products under one listing like this one for different types of saws and a reviewer of that listing leaves a review for one of them there is no mention of which product they are referring to unless they specify.Despite selecting "WORX WX437 XL 800W" I have been seeing reviews for other models in the listing with problems which I didn't know at the time and I ended getting a lift to rush to Screwfix on Christmas eve to buy a third party compatible universal 85mm blade specified by reviewer for a different smaller saw in that listing under the impression that the tool I brought is good but the provided blade will give problems. I saw other reviewers confirming that the 85mm blade that comes with it wasn't any good where it would overheat, expand and start bending and one mentioning about it hitting the knife and cutting wrong and this 85m blade specified and pictures solved the issue for that reviewer. It was arriving on Christmas eve and was preparing the 5mm blade for it and It was only when I looked at the blade on the model that I brought (WORX WX437 XL 800W) on a higher resolution picture that I coped into Irfanview then I see that it takes 115mm 120mm and not 85mm. I checked again and I realize they could be referring to three other 400w saws including the WX426 plunge cut.I looked at the lower power model up which is the WX439 500W on Argus that uses the same 120mm blades and they have 4 to 5 star reviews: 68, (5 star reviews ) and 4 star (5 reviews) and no mention of the issues that the models that use the 85mm blade reportedly have.I am pleased I made the right decision and went for the large extra power model as I was almost about the buy the smaller one.Very misleading for reviews for a different product to be shown up not matching the one selected. I hope this issues gets fixed so when I select a product within a multilisting like this one only the relevant reviews relevant to that product are shown.

Very nice Saw putdown with useless paralel guider
Very nice Saw putdown with useless parallel guider Laser is powerful and helpful. Quality material very nice design Lucky it comes with the case. But If you want to cut anything under 10 mm and you relaying to parallel guider it is useless you can not use it. the worthless technical department won't do any help they don't have a replacement parallel guide. I tried to cut my 5 ~6 mm thick 200mmx 250 mm simple tiles to use with a parallel guide because is the wrong design my tiles went inside of u shape of the parallel guider instead should be touching it. In more worst scenario if you planning to buy this item to cut your flooring boards 4 feet long 120 cm and if their thickness is under 10mm parallel guider can not support. unless you can attach to another plate next to the original parallel plate- and closing that useless U-shape area like welding another plate or supergluing another plate may help you. cutting a cheap metal ruler super glue and stick to the parallel guider's plate may do work as a stick to the parallel guider.
