Inaccurate colour

Love it
I've been using various shades of Natural Instincts off and on for decades (currently 4RV on my medium-dark brown hair with some grays). I like that it keeps natural variation in color rather than making your hair flat, 1-tone like box permanent dyes. On my hair it has always stained long-term, so be forewarned. I redo it every 6 weeks or so as my roots come in and the top lightens a bit, but after the first couple of inches the hair has been dyed over several times and doesn't really fade. This has happened with all the colors I've used. That's fine with me. But if you're thinking you'll use this color for a month or two and will then be back to your natural color when it fades, you're going to be upset.

Muy bonito el tinte! Lo llevo usando desde hace 1 mes atras y es super delicado con el cabello; no daña y brilla precioso al sol,, yo soy alguien que tiene cabello oscuro e igual me pinta, asi que muy satisfecha con el producto. 😺

great color
They keep doing away with the color I buy for long periods of time so was skeptical about buying a new color in bulk without trying but I love the color. It is not an in your face color but it is bold and pretty. I get lots of compliments about it and my grey roots are already starting to show.

Weird staining
I dyed my hair red for years but had to stop due to damage. Found this “Demi permanent” and decided to go back. My hair doesn’t feel damaged, the color turned out well, and doesn’t seem to be fading super quick. But the staining of this dye is very weird. It stained my tub when I rinsed it out, luckily a couple rounds of Clorox bleach spray got it out. Rinsing it also stained my hands and nail polish. The gloves included are giant and awful, when I did touchups I used kitchen gloves instead, and it was 1000x better. Overall, the dye was good for my hair, but I wouldn’t use again without bleach handy, and might wear gloves to rinse it out.
