Review: Brilliant stuff - I've just fitted an Ultraframe glass roof with aluminium box gutters - The box gutters have plastic adaptors for the downpipe outlet which come with some self adhesive flash banding to seal and bridge the join. Before I started the installation I asked the supplier what most DIY installations fail on. They told me not sealing the joints properly was the biggest cause of failure which ultimately ends in leaks. They suggested I go for the belt and braces approach and not just rely on the flash banding. They recommended to use this product on every joint, which I did - It's brilliant stuff. Goes on thick, sticks like s*** and has a nice finish to it. Highly recommended. You could probably paint this on to the bottom of an oil tanker and wouldn't leak.
Review: Easy to use. - I had a very old leaky felt roof and tried Cromapol - it fixed the leak immediately. Easy to use, even in the wet, covers quite wide cracks and remains flexible. What's not to like! Tip - use a cheap brush as it will be almost impossible to clean and throw it away, or leave it inside the sealed tin to use again.
