You HAVE to READ INGREDIENTS. BLEACH ADDITIVES and or phosphorus drop in tablets ARE NOT SAFE FOR your toilet or pipes that are PVC. The constant concentration of these bleach tablets can make pipes brittle and crack or break. This can also do this the plastic parts in the tank. Phosphorus is really bad for SEPTIC tank as it throws off balance and can actually create a type of algae. TIDY BOWL contains NO phosphate and no bleach.

What is the longest you have used this product? Does it damage the rubber flap in the bowl?

We used the lysol brand of this product in our tanks and all of our toilets started leaking (would refill when not being used). The plumber that replaced the insides told us they wear the parts inside the tank over time especially the rubber parts. I quit using them after getting new insides but I miss them because they worked well. Just found some that hang over the edge of the toilet bowl inside the bowl. I'm giving them a try.

What are the active ingredients in this product?

No ingredients are listed on the box. It is made in China so their laws may be different as to their labeling. I can tell you that you will not see a ring, a stain, or any discoloration in your toilet bowl from using this product. This has been the only thing that worked for us in getting rid of discolorations.

Sticky, easily dissolves hence not lasting for more than one flush. Disappointed with product!

Each tablet is meant for one flush, leaving no trace of perfume or color. The tablet is sticky and moist. Hence expensive to use.

Yes, it works, but clean all mineral deposits above the water line before using.

This works great on mineral deposits at the waterline. And once I cleaned these, they returned to some extent, but are very easy to clean. However, we had deposits along the vertical tracks of the water as it enters the bowl from the holes under the rim at the top after each flush. They were minimal and I hadn’t thought to clean them–big mistake. Unfortunately after using this product a few weeks, those deposits along the vertical tracks were stained blue. Worse those blue deposits were incredibly hard to clean.
